What is New Horizon Wellness?
New Horizon Wellness is a medical weight loss practice with offices in Jacksonville Beach, Tallahassee, The Villages and Winter Haven, Florida. Its main service is semaglutide and tirzepatide for weight loss. It also offers vitamin injections: B12, vitamin C, vitamin D3 and glutathione. Visits are by appointment only, with telemedicine appointments throughout Florida and in-person visits at select locations.
It does not name the doctor who prescribes, and it does not list office hours. It names Wegovy, the brand name of semaglutide. In its own words, the consent form says treatment may involve "weight management medications being formulated by a compounding pharmacy." That line is worth reading closely before you book.
What does it cost?
The vitamin injections have published prices. A single B12 or vitamin C injection is $20. Both come in packages of 4 for $64, 8 for $112 and 12 for $144. A single vitamin D3 injection is $30, and its packages cost $96 for 4, $168 for 8 and $216 for 12.
It does not publish prices for semaglutide or tirzepatide, and it does not say whether the medication is included in any price. It does not publish a consultation fee or say whether it accepts insurance. Its no-show policy says a fee may apply if you miss a scheduled initial or follow-up visit, or if you cancel less than one full business day before it.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and what license that person holds, since the clinic names no prescriber. Ask whether the price includes the medication, and what the medication costs if it does not. Ask whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide is the brand-name product or compounded, and which pharmacy makes it.
Ask what the consultation, follow-up visits and lab work cost, whether your insurance or an HSA card can be used, and which office hours apply. Ask what happens if you miss treatment. The consent form says a gap of more than 2 consecutive treatment weeks means re-dosing, an additional fee and a new intake appointment. Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a weight loss program or vitamin injections, live near one of its four Florida towns or are comfortable with a telemedicine visit, and are ready to pay cash once the price questions are answered. If you need a named prescriber or a published medication price before you call, this clinic does not give you either.
