What is New Radiance?
New Radiance is a cosmetic surgery and med spa practice with offices in Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, Port St. Lucie and Wellington, Florida. Most of what it does is cosmetic: neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, body contouring, laser skin treatments, and surgical procedures including facelifts, rhinoplasty and tummy tucks. It also runs a wellness menu with GLP-1 weight loss solutions, peptides, NAD therapy and women's hormone replacement therapy.
The practice is led by Douglas Dedo, MD, a triple board-certified cosmetic and plastic surgeon, and Jonathan Schwitzer, MD, a board-certified plastic surgeon. Neither is named as the prescriber for weight loss or hormone therapy. In its own words, its hormone therapy is "a modern solution to help restore hormonal balance and reignite your energy, focus, and overall well-being."
The GLP-1 page describes an initial consultation that reviews your weight loss history and medical history, and says the team will arrange your medication supply and monitor your progress. It names semaglutide and tirzepatide as examples of the medications involved.
This listing is for its Boca Raton office at 1865 NW 2nd Ave, Suite 102.
What does it cost?
New Radiance does not publish prices for its weight loss, hormone, peptide or NAD programs, and it does not publish prices for its cosmetic treatments either. Ask for the numbers in writing before you book. Its one stated offer is for new clients booking a consultation: $50 off the first service on non-surgical treatments of $199 or more. It lists a membership with savings but does not show the monthly cost or the cancellation terms. It does not say whether insurance is accepted, whether telehealth is offered, or whether a monthly fee includes the medication.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who signs the prescription. Ask which doctor prescribes the weight loss medication and the hormone therapy, and whether that doctor sees you in person before treatment starts. Then ask whether the program fee includes the medication, or whether the drug is billed on top of it. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, because that changes what you are paying for. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether they are included. Ask whether any follow-up can be done by telehealth. Ask whether insurance or an HSA can be used, and what the membership costs and how to cancel it. Get the answers in writing.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want cosmetic or injectable work and a wellness menu under one roof, and you are willing to get the prescriber's name, the full cost and the cancellation terms in writing before you commit. It is a weaker fit if you need a clinic where a named physician is clearly responsible for your weight loss or hormone care, since New Radiance does not name one for either.
