About Magnolia Health & Infusions

What is Magnolia Health & Infusions?

Magnolia Health & Infusions is a cash-pay clinic at 16 Bird Street, Suite 4, in Torrington, Connecticut. Its main services are IV drip therapy and IM injections, with monthly memberships built on top of them. Two of those memberships cover medical weight loss and testosterone replacement for men. The clinic also offers NAD+ treatment and three kinds of testing: lifestyle and nutritional testing, a 3D body composition scanner, and general diagnostic laboratory testing.

The weight loss membership uses semaglutide, and the testosterone membership uses testosterone. The clinic does not name who prescribes either one. Hours are Tuesday and Thursday 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Wednesday 9:30am to 1:00pm, and Friday 10:00am to 5:00pm, with Saturday by appointment only. The phone number is (860) 866-4005. Its Google listing shows a 5 star rating from 21 reviews, under the category medical office.

What does it cost?

Memberships are billed monthly. The Essence IM Injection Membership is $99 a month for four IM injections of your choice. The IV drip therapy membership is $149 a month for one IV drip service of your choice, and Myers Cocktail and NAD+ are excluded. The Male Testosterone Replacement Therapy membership is $199 a month for one weekly in-office testosterone injection, with essential follow-up labs included. The GLP-1 Medical Weight Loss (Semaglutide) membership is $499 a month for a weekly in-office semaglutide injection, a weekly lipotropic IM injection, weekly ShapeScale 3D body composition scans, and essential follow-up labs.

The clinic does not say whether the medication is included in the $199 or $499 price. It does not publish a consultation fee, does not say whether it accepts insurance, and gives no cancellation or commitment terms for memberships. Members receive 20% or 30% off other services, but those discounts cannot be combined with package purchase discounts.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with the prescriber. Ask who writes and signs the semaglutide and testosterone prescriptions, and what training that person has. Then ask whether the monthly fee covers the drug itself. If it does not, ask what the medication costs on top. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and where it is filled.

Ask what "essential follow-up labs" includes and what any extra lab work costs. Ask whether there is a consultation fee, and whether it is due before the first month is charged. Ask whether any part of this can be billed to insurance. Ask how long you must stay enrolled, and whether you can cancel mid-month.

Since the weight loss and testosterone programs involve weekly in-office injections, ask whether every visit must be in Torrington or whether any follow-up can be done by video. The clinic's description also mentions hormone therapy for women, but the only hormone membership listed is for men, so ask whether women's hormone therapy is offered.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live close enough to Torrington to come in every week, and you want the prescriber, the drug, and the cancellation terms confirmed in writing before you pay. If you need telehealth or clear commitment terms, get those answers before you book.
