What is TIDE Wellness?
TIDE Wellness is a cash-pay practice in Guilford, Connecticut, and weight loss is its main service. What does it cost?
Membership prices are monthly. Semaglutide is $169 a month on Starter, $249 on Mid and $299 on High. Tirzepatide is $249 a month on Starter, $399 on Mid and $549 on High. A three-month prepay saves 5%. The initial consultation is included in the membership, and labs and non-GLP-1 services are billed separately. The pricing does not say whether the medication is part of the monthly figure.
The clinic is cash-pay only. It says you may submit an itemized receipt to your insurer, though it does not say your insurer will pay. Medication ships in 90-day supply cycles, and once a cycle is prepared or shipped, you owe the full cycle. If you cancel before the next cycle is prepared, no further charges occur. The clinic does not mention HSA or financing.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the prescriber. Ask who signs your prescription and whether that person is licensed where you live. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication and whether it is brand-name or compounded. The clinic does not say.
Next, ask about labs. Its Florida material says no labs are needed to start, while its pricing terms bill optional labs separately. Ask whether labs are required, what they cost, and what follow-up visits cost at your tier. Ask what an in-office visit involves too. The clinic does not describe its in-person setup, and its listed hours are weekdays from 3pm to 6pm only.
Finally, ask how cancellation works mid-cycle, since remaining installments for a shipped cycle still come due. Get that answer in writing. Ask the prices for Lipo-B, micro dosing plans and nutrition planning, because none are listed.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are paying cash, want GLP-1 medication with telehealth follow-up in Connecticut or Florida, and are willing to confirm the prescriber, medication and cancellation terms in writing before you pay. If you need a named prescriber up front or need insurance to cover any of it, ask those questions first or look at other options.
