What is Clarity Medical Aesthetics?
Clarity Medical Aesthetics is a medical spa at 1205 Boston Post Rd in Guilford, Connecticut. Most of what it does is aesthetic work: injectables, fillers, laser and skin treatments, and hair restoration, along with a long list of other services. Weight management and hormone replacement therapy sit under a separate heading the clinic calls Clarity Wellness. The weight management program is described as medically supervised, with lab work and ongoing provider support. Clarity mentions GLP-1 weight management in connection with Bianca Patel but does not name a medication. The hormone program covers bioidentical hormone therapy for men and women, and Clarity lists BHRT pellets and DUTCH testing.
Clarity lists five clinicians as prescribers. Kati Midgley, PA-C, is the founder and clinical lead, with 25 years of experience, and she co-founded Level Up Medical Aesthetics Institute, an injector training center next door. Bianca Patel, PA-C, is the wellness lead and holds Evexias certification in HRT and advanced peptide therapy. Dr. Elie M. Ferneini, MD, is the medical director, overseeing clinical protocols and provider supervision. Heather DeMaio, RN, is an injector and skin specialist, and Elissa Crerar, RN, leads laser and resurfacing work. The clinic has 12+ years in practice, and Google shows a 4.8 rating from 135 reviews.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for weight management or hormone therapy. The consultation is listed as complimentary. The one price it publishes is the Clarity VIP Membership at $99 a month, which gives 10% off injectables, 15% off other services and retail skincare, a $200 birthday gift, and early access to new services. Clarity does not say whether those discounts apply to weight management or hormone therapy.
It does not say whether the monthly program fee includes medication, whether insurance is accepted, or what the membership's cancellation terms are. If you are considering this clinic, get those answers in writing before you pay anything.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs your prescription, and whether the nurses on the team prescribe for the weight or hormone program. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and whether that medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask who makes it and where it is filled.
Ask what lab work costs, how often it is repeated, and what follow-up visits cost. Ask how to cancel, and whether the membership discount applies to these programs. Ask about office hours and telehealth too, since Clarity does not list either.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments and a medically supervised weight or hormone program under one roof, and you are comfortable getting prices and medication details at the consultation. If you need those answers before you book, call 203.903.1455 first and ask them.
