About Luna Wellness & Aesthetics

What is Luna Wellness & Aesthetics?

Luna Wellness & Aesthetics is a medical aesthetics practice at 830 S Main Street in Cheshire, CT 06410. The phone number is 475-342-4009. Most of its service list is cosmetic, including laser hair removal, Morpheus8, IPL, body contouring, facials and thread lifts. It also offers three medical services: medical weight loss, hormone therapy and peptide therapy.

Jen Robinson, APRN, CNP, is the only prescriber the clinic names. For weight loss, it says medication "may be prescribed to help complement the weight loss diet and exercise." The medications it names are semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy), tirzepatide (Mounjaro), phentermine and Contrave, plus others based on APRN recommendations. Hormone therapy covers testosterone replacement for men and bio-identical hormone therapy. Peptide therapy lists NAD+, BPC-157, glutathione, and two stacks, the Glow Stack and the Wolverine Stack.

It is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with Saturdays by appointment. Google lists it as a weight loss service and shows a 4.9 rating from 84 reviews.

What does it cost?

The testosterone therapy consultation is $375, which includes labs and medication. Follow-up visits every two months are $275 each, also with labs and medication.

The weight loss program says its monthly fee covers the provider visit, prescription, education and supplies, and that the program price includes medication and monthly visits. It does not publish that program price. It cites about $1300 a month for semaglutide without insurance, but that is not the clinic's own fee.

It accepts HSA plans but does not bill insurance. Monthly payment is required for weight loss, and that program requires a three-month commitment. It lists Payment Plans as a service but does not explain the terms. It does not publish prices for peptides or for hormone therapy beyond testosterone, and it does not state a cancellation policy.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription for each service. Only Jen Robinson is named, and no prescriber is named for hormone or peptide care. Ask whether the monthly weight loss fee includes the medication, and what the total comes to over the three-month commitment. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Semaglutide and tirzepatide come from an FDA approved pharmacy, according to the clinic, but no such statement is made for the peptides.

Ask what labs and follow-up cost outside the consultation, and whether any follow-up can be done by video, since telehealth is not mentioned. Ask how cancellation works during the commitment, and whether it provides itemized receipts for HSA claims. Before booking a peptide or BHRT visit, ask for those prices in writing.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want medical weight loss, hormone therapy or peptides from a practice that also offers cosmetic treatments, and you can pay out of pocket every month for at least three months. It is less suited to someone who needs insurance billing or wants every price published before the first visit.
