What is BIOGENEX?

BIOGENEX is a precision medicine clinic at 51 East Main St, Avon, CT 06001, with telehealth for patients in Connecticut. Its prescribers are APRN DiMartino, the founder, who is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and Dr. Wolf, MD, a board-certified physician and retired United States Army veteran.

The clinic offers men's testosterone optimization, women's hormone restoration, peptide therapy, thyroid optimization, metabolic and weight care with semaglutide or tirzepatide, IV therapy, PNOĒ metabolic testing, and a biomarker panel of 100+ markers. It calls itself a precision medicine clinic and says, "BIOGENEX is not a hormone clinic." Most of its published prices, though, are for hormone therapy and weight care.

It is open weekdays from 09:00 to 17:00. Google lists it as a medical clinic with a 4.8 rating from 24 reviews. It does not say how long it has been open. The clinic also advertises a recovery lab with sauna, cold plunge and cryotherapy, opening Sept 1st, with first access reserved for Sovereign and Primus members. That lab is separate from the services above and has no published price.

What does it cost?

The initial consultation is $89, applied toward your first protocol. TRT optimization is listed at $165 a month, and the clinic does not say whether medication is included in that price. Women's hormone plans run from $150 to $265 a month, depending on the configuration. The Foundation tier is listed at $135 and includes the 100+ biomarker panel and a one-to-one clinician consultation, with no billing period stated. PNOĒ testing starts at $150 as a separate tier.

GLP-1 therapy has no published price. It is offered at "member pricing" as an add-on with additional cost, and labs are not included in membership. The clinic advertises a two-week trial for new members that excludes IV therapy, but the terms are not given. It does not state whether it accepts insurance, and it does not state cancellation or commitment terms.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who will sign the prescription for the medication you want, and who sees you at each check-in. Ask whether the $165 TRT price includes the medication or bills it on top. For semaglutide and tirzepatide, ask the monthly price and whether the drug is brand-name or compounded. For the peptides named on the clinic's pages, AOD-9604, 5-AMINO-1-MQ and SLUPP-332, ask whether each is FDA-approved and where it is sourced.

Ask which states the treating clinician is licensed in. BIOGENEX describes its telehealth as Connecticut in one place and nationwide in another. Ask what labs cost, whether the check-ins every 4 to 6 weeks are covered by your monthly fee, and how to cancel, including notice periods and any minimum term. Get the answers in writing before you pay.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want hormone therapy, weight care or peptides from a clinic you can visit in Avon, and you are ready to pay separately for labs and check-ins. It is a weaker fit if you need the GLP-1 price or the cancellation terms before you commit, because neither is published.
