What does it cost?

In its own words: "We do not bill insurance and we do not communicate with insurance companies." Payment is due at the time of service by credit card, cash, or HSA or FSA card. The clinic will provide a receipt or superbill on request if you want to file for out-of-network reimbursement yourself. Labs are billed apart from visit fees. The clinic estimates an initial lab evaluation at about $200 to $300, depending on the tests chosen. Follow-up labs vary. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 hours notice.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and whether you will see Ellie Curie at every visit or whether follow-up is handled by someone else. Ask whether any monthly fee includes the medication, and what the medication costs on its own. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, since it works with compounding pharmacies when appropriate for hormone therapy. Ask what follow-up visits and repeat labs cost and how often they are needed. Ask for the office hours, which are not listed. If you live outside Colorado, ask which states telemedicine covers, because it does not list them. Finally, ask how the 24-hour cancellation rule applies to any fee you have already paid.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are paying out of pocket and want one named nurse practitioner for hormone, thyroid or metabolic care, with long first visits and the option of telemedicine.
