About Youthbar

What is Youthbar?

Youthbar is a cosmetic med spa at 500 Discovery Parkway, Suite 175, in Superior, Colorado. It serves clients from Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette and Broomfield too. Most of its work is aesthetic: Botox, Dysport, fillers including Juvederm and Sculptra, lasers, chemical peels, microneedling and facials. Medical weight loss is one of its services, using semaglutide and tirzepatide, alongside vitamin B12 injections and IV drips.

Meadow Tarves, RN, who owns and founded the practice, is the only prescriber named for weight loss care. The practice reports more than a decade of experience in aesthetic medicine. It is open Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, and the phone number is 720-970-2355. Its Google rating is 4.9 from 468 reviews.

What does it cost?

Weight loss is billed monthly, starting at $350 a month for GLP1 and $450 a month for GLP-1/GIP. Youthbar does not say whether either figure includes the medication. No consultation fee is published, and no price is given for the 45-minute intake visit or the 15-minute monthly follow-ups. It does not say whether insurance is accepted, and it does not describe membership terms or how cancellation works for the weight loss program.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with who signs the prescription. The weight loss material calls the program physician-supervised, but the only prescriber named is Meadow Tarves, RN. Ask who supervises your care and who decides on any change to your medication.

Then ask whether the monthly fee covers the medication, the intake visit, the follow-ups and the nutrition coaching, or whether the drug is billed on top. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. In its own words: "Compounded medications are custom-prepared treatments that have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA." Ask which version you would receive.

The semaglutide material says a provider may order labs before prescribing, so ask whether lab work is required and what it costs. Ask whether follow-ups can be done by telehealth, which is not described, and whether HSA funds or financing are accepted. Finally, ask how to cancel: any minimum commitment, how much notice is needed, and what happens to your plan if you stop.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want medication-based weight loss from a med spa that also offers injectables and skin treatments, and you can confirm the prescriber, the monthly total and the medication type before you pay. If you are looking for hormone therapy or peptide therapy, note that neither is on its list of services.
