What is South Denver Cardiology?
South Denver Cardiology is a cardiology practice at 1000 SouthPark Drive in Littleton, Colorado 80120. Its main building is the South Denver Heart Center. The Medical Weight Loss Clinic is one program inside the practice, on the second floor of the Prevention Clinic in the same building.

For the first month, the self-pay charges are a $99 initial nutrition consult and a one-time $60 exercise physiology consult. Medicare patients may have certain diagnoses covered. Each later month has a $50 nutrition follow visit, also self pay. Other services are offered individually, self pay, with no prices given.
Medical care is billed to insurance. The first visit with the nurse practitioner, follow-up medical visits, labs and medications go through your medical insurance, and co-pays and deductibles apply. It does not publish medication prices or a monthly program total, and it does not say whether medication is included in the consult prices.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes any prescription, since no prescriber is named, and whether that person is a physician or a nurse practitioner. Ask whether medication is included in any monthly fee, or whether it is billed to insurance or paid in cash, and what you would pay for it. Ask whether the drug is brand-name or compounded. Ask what labs and follow-up visits cost on top of the $50 nutrition follow visit, and how often you would need it. Ask which insurance plans are accepted and what your co-pay would be for the first nurse practitioner visit.
Ask about telehealth and office hours, since neither is published. Ask how to cancel any service you pay for separately. If you were considering a UCHealth or Skyridge location, know that the practice does not see patients at Skyridge or any UCHealth facility.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you can get to Littleton, want your medical visits and medications billed through insurance, and want cash-pay nutrition and exercise consults alongside a cardiology practice. If you want an all-cash, telehealth or flat monthly program, call and ask before you book.
