About Drip & Glow Med Spa
What is Drip & Glow Med Spa?
Drip & Glow Med Spa is a medical spa at 575 Union Blvd #207 in Lakewood, Colorado. Most of its work is skin, beauty and IV treatments: facials, injectables, microneedling, The Perfect Derma™ Peel, hair restoration, brow treatments, full body waxing and nutrient infusions. Weight loss is one of its services, alongside those.
The weight loss service uses two medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide, given as monthly injections. In its own words: "The Weight loss consultation will assess whether GLP-1 and GIP weight loss injections are a good fit for you." Heather Smith, RN, is listed as owner and is the only named clinician. The business does not say who writes the weight loss prescription. It describes "over 15 years of experience behind every service," and its Google listing shows a rating of 5 from 68 reviews.
What does it cost?
Semaglutide starts at $100 a month and tirzepatide starts at $265 a month. It does not say whether the medication is included in those prices. Ask which dose the starting price covers, since the tirzepatide description says the price rises with higher doses.
The weight loss consultation is listed at $100 for one hour, and that fee is waived if you go ahead with treatment. A separate $50 consultation fee, applied to your service if you proceed, appears beside the esthetician consultation. Confirm which fee applies to a weight loss visit.
Other prices include $15 for a B-12 shot, $460 for a three-pack of Glutathione Glow, $13 per unit of Botox and $2,800 for four syringes of dermal filler. It does not say whether it accepts insurance. It offers payment plans and gift cards, but does not publish their terms.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the weight loss prescription and whether that person is a licensed prescriber. Ask this before your first visit, not after.
Ask whether the monthly price includes the medication and which dose it covers. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy supplies it. The business says it sources its IVs and injectables from U.S. pharmacies, so ask whether the weight loss medication comes from the same source.
Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether they are part of the monthly fee. Ask whether any part of your care is done by video, since it does not say. Ask whether it takes insurance and how a monthly plan is cancelled, because neither is published. Hours are not listed, so call (720) 241-6434 to get them.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want weight loss injections from a med spa that also offers skin and beauty services, and you are willing to get the prescriber, the medication and the monthly terms in writing before you pay. If knowing who holds the prescription matters most to you, make that your first question on the first call.
