About Flying Horse Medical Center
What is Flying Horse Medical Center?
Flying Horse Medical Center is a concierge family practice, also called direct primary care, with offices in Colorado Springs and Monument. It bills itself as a full-service medical facility, and it also offers a medical spa and plastic surgery. Its Google rating is 4.5 from 55 reviews. The main line is 719-633-5255.
Five people are named as prescribers: Dr Aaron Fraser, Dr Dave Haight, Dr George Juetersonke, Dr Millicent Odunze Geers and Dr Erin Fry. The clinic does not publish their credentials. Its weight loss program names tirzepatide and semaglutide, sold as Zepbound and Mounjaro, and Wegovy and Ozempic, plus phentermine and Qsymia. Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement and Peptide Therapy are also listed services. Longevity medicine is not named as a service.
This listing is for its Colorado Springs office at 1615 Silversmith Rd.
What does it cost?
The initial consultation is $199. After that, the Medical Weight Loss Management membership is $109 a month. The monthly fee covers medication management, consultations, a personalized plan, nutrition and fitness guidance, and access to the community. Medication is not included. Prescribed medication is billed on top of the membership, and its cost varies by drug and dose.
The membership requires an initial 6-month commitment. Insurance may be used for required lab work, and cash-pay options are available. It does not publish prices for hormone therapy or peptide therapy, so ask for those before booking.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the prescriber. Ask which of the five named people will sign your prescription and what credentials they hold, since none are published. Then ask whether the medications are brand-name products or compounded versions, and what each costs per month. Its medications are described as FDA-approved, so ask whether that applies to every product it offers.
Ask what follow-up visits and lab work will cost you, and which labs insurance will cover. Ask whether telehealth visits are offered, since the program describes in-person monthly visits and does not say whether telehealth is available. Cancellation anytime is also advertised, so ask what happens if you leave before the 6-month commitment ends and whether a fee applies. If you are considering the Concierge Medical Member option, which adds primary care benefits, ask its price, because none is given.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are 18 or older, want medication-based weight loss care with in-person visits in Colorado Springs or Monument, and can pay a monthly membership plus medication costs out of pocket. It is a weaker fit if you need telehealth, want a written price for hormone or peptide care before you commit, or are looking for longevity medicine under that name.
