About All In Family Medicine
What is All In Family Medicine?
All In Family Medicine is a family practice at 7610 North Union Blvd. Suite 140 in Colorado Springs, CO 80920. Its primary care provider is Lisa Blackwelder, RNC, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC. The practice lists her as a certified family nurse practitioner, with more than 25 years of experience in family medicine, women's health, nutrition and hormone therapies.
The practice mainly provides primary care for the whole family, including management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol. Weight loss and hormone therapy are two of its services, alongside mental health care, ketamine and IV therapy, annual and sports physicals, PRP and trigger point injections, food sensitivity tests and thyroid care.
For weight loss, the clinic names Ozempic, Wegovy, Trulicity, Mounjaro and Zepbound. For women's hormones, it lists pills, creams, injections and pellets. For men's testosterone, it lists a compounded cream, an injection given in the office, and pellets placed in the office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 5PM, Friday from 8AM to 2PM, and closed on weekends. It does not say whether telehealth visits are offered.
In its own words, on women's hormones: "We treat women who are suffering from low or suboptimal hormone levels using bio-identical hormones."
What does it cost?
Drug costs are the only prices it states. Without insurance, drug costs typically range from $250 to $600 a month for compounded tirzepatide or semaglutide, and $1,200 a month for brand-name medication. Those figures are for the prescription. Its costs may include office visits, lab work and prescription drugs, but it does not say whether the office visit is part of the drug price.
With insurance, it accepts most major plans, and office visits and lab work are usually covered, depending on deductibles and co-pays. Medication co-pays typically run $25 to $200 a month. Coverage for weight loss drugs is not universal, and it completes prior authorization for at least part of the costs. Office visits are recommended at least every six weeks until goal weight is reached.
It does not publish a consultation fee, hormone therapy prices or a cancellation policy.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which medication you would be prescribed and whether it is brand-name or compounded. There are two price ranges, and the answer decides which one applies to you.
Ask whether the monthly figure includes office visits and lab work, and what each follow-up visit costs, since visits are recommended every six weeks.
Ask for the consultation fee and the price of hormone therapy, including which form they would recommend: pills, creams, injections or pellets.
If you have insurance, ask what your co-pay would be under your specific plan, and what happens if prior authorization is denied.
Ask who orders and reviews your lab work. Men's testosterone testing includes testosterone, PSA and thyroid tests.
Ask whether any visits can be done by video, and how cancellation works, including whether there is a contract or a minimum term.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a family practice that also handles weight loss, hormone and thyroid care, and you are willing to get prices in writing before you book. It is a poor match if you need every cost published before you call.
