What is Kore Natural Medicine?
Kore Natural Medicine is a naturopathic clinic at 2255 Ygnacio Valley Road, Suite N, in Walnut Creek, California 94598. You can call (707) 779-2603. Visits are by appointment only, Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on select Saturdays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Dr. Uppal, ND, is the only prescriber the clinic names. ND is the naturopathic doctor credential.
Naturopathic care is the clinic's main service. It also offers bioidentical hormone therapy for women, testosterone replacement for men, peptide therapy, injectables, shockwave therapy, red light therapy, acupuncture and non-invasive pain relief. What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for weight loss, hormone or peptide care, and it does not state a consultation fee. The one published price is the Kore Membership: $125, billed every 4 weeks to the card you provide. In its own words: "The Kore Membership is now required to remain an active patient at Kore."
The membership does not cover peptides, in-office supplements or medications, follow-up visits, or new patient consultations. Follow-ups are billed at the current standard rate, which is not stated. It does not say whether any medication is included in a price. HSA and FSA cards can be used for payments, but membership payments are not eligible for superbills. Kore does not accept insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid.
Cancelling ends your patient status. Coming back means re-establishing as a new patient at the pricing in effect then. You can place the membership on hold for up to one month per calendar year, with notice. A failed payment pauses the membership by the second billing cycle and ends it by the third.
What should you ask before you book?
What will semaglutide or tirzepatide cost each month, and is the medication billed on top of the $125 membership? Ask for the full monthly figure before you book.
Is each medication brand-name or compounded? Ask the same about BPC-157 and Thymosin alpha 1, and where each comes from.
Which prescriber signs each prescription? Ask what the consultation, follow-up visits and lab work cost.
The hormone and peptide pages say those services are currently available in person. Ask which services can be done by video.
The membership terms say the clinic is not equipped for emergency or urgent care. Ask where you should go if you need either.
Dr. Uppal reserves the right to end any membership at any time. Ask how to stop billing before the next cycle.
The membership lists superbills among its benefits, but the terms say membership payments are not eligible for superbills. Ask which applies to you.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want naturopathic care in person in Walnut Creek or by video from California or Washington, and you are ready to pay a monthly membership plus separate charges for medication, visits and labs. It may not suit you if you need insurance billing, urgent care, or one total monthly price you can confirm before the first visit.
