Functional Beauty is a medical aesthetics practice with offices in Ventura and Moorpark, California. It was founded in 2021, and Josie Arrigoni is listed as its lead aesthetic provider and founder. What does it cost?

The weight management booster is $75 per injection. The Self-Love Club membership has no price or membership terms listed, and telehealth is not mentioned.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the monthly fee. Ask whether the $400 to $600 includes the medication, and if it does not, what the medication costs on top. Ask which GLP-1 medication you would receive and whether it is brand-name or compounded. The clinic names only the drug class, not a brand or dose.
Ask which clinician prescribes it and whether that person reviews your health history before the first prescription. Ask whether follow-up visits and lab work are included in the monthly fee or billed separately. Ask whether any part of the program can be done by video, and whether the clinic takes insurance at all.
On stopping, the program includes a plan for weaning off the medication, based on your results and goals. Ask what that plan costs and whether it is written down. Finally, ask how to cancel the monthly program, and whether a Self-Love Club membership would be billed on top.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person GLP-1 weight management in Ventura or Moorpark and are comfortable paying cash for it. If you want a practice whose main focus is weight loss medicine, look harder: most of what this clinic does is cosmetic, so ask how its weight management side is staffed before you book.
