About Rosaasen Family Medicine
What is Sustainability?
Sustainability is a weight loss clinic with offices in Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley. Medical weight management is its main service. It also offers peptide therapy, hormone optimization, and longevity care such as NAD+ shots and wellness plans. Kevin Dobbs, DNP/FNP-BC, is the only prescriber named for the clinic. He is a Family Nurse Practitioner. Some injections may be given by a medical assistant instead of the provider.
The main weight program runs three months. It includes GLP-1 medications when clinically appropriate, a weekly vitamin shot, check-ins every two weeks, and monthly body composition scans. The first visit is a one-hour consultation that includes an in-clinic EKG and a Styku 3D body scan. The clinic does not publish a street address or hours, so call 805-492-1015 to ask where and when to visit. Its Google listing shows a rating of 5 from 9 reviews.
What does it cost?
The monthly peptide plan is $599 a month. It covers one monthly peptide of choice in a multi-dose pen, and it excludes GLP shots. In its own words: "Get a monthly peptide of choice in a multi-dose pen for one simple price." The page does not say whether that $599 also covers visit fees.
The clinic does not publish a price for its GLP-1 weight loss program. It says to schedule a consult for pricing. The initial consultation is $150, rising to $300 on January 1, 2027. That fee can be applied toward a 3-month membership if you sign up the same day. Wellness peptide plans start at $800 a month.
There is no contract, and you renew month to month. The clinic does not say whether it accepts insurance. Required lab work can be drawn in the office for an additional cash price, or you can bring outside labs at your own expense.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether Dr. Dobbs signs every prescription, and which injections a medical assistant gives. Ask whether the program price includes the medication, the visits, and the labs, or only part of those. Ask whether the GLP-1 medication is brand-name or compounded, since the page does not say. Ask what the required lab workup costs in the office, and what the follow-up check-ins cost beyond the program fee. Ask whether the clinic takes insurance and whether any visits can be done by video. Ask how to cancel, and whether you can stop before a three-month term ends.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a cash-pay weight loss program with extended visits, you live near Thousand Oaks or Simi Valley, and you are comfortable paying monthly out of pocket. If you need a published price for the weight loss program before you call, the clinic does not publish one yet.
