What is Lean2Glow?
Lean2Glow is a medical weight loss and skin care clinic run by a physician, with offices in San Jose and Redwood City, California. Its founder and chief medical officer is Milliadire Syverain, MD, who has practiced medicine since 1993. Other prescribers the clinic names are Annette Barnes, PA; Mary Azah, MSN, FNP-C; May Lee, MSN, FNP-C; Sonya Khuwaja, DNP, APRN, FNP-C; Jeneil Carter, MSN, FNP-C; Dr. Elex Kalu; Cindy DeGuzman, MSN, FNP-C; and Angela Reyes, MSN, FNP-C.
The clinic offers weight loss, Botox and fillers, laser treatments, general and concierge medicine, and USCIS immigration exams. For weight loss it names Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound, plus the appetite suppressants Phentermine and Phendimetrazine. Its plan lists weekly check-ins and plan adjustments when needed. It does not list hormone therapy or peptide therapy. In its own words: "Our weight loss program is a medically supervised plan that includes the use of FDA-approved medications, dietary counseling, and exercise recommendations tailored to help you achieve and maintain your weight loss goals."
This listing is for its San Jose office at 88 Tully Rd #110.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for weight loss or any other service. It is cash pay only. It does not accept insurance, but it will give you information to submit to your insurer yourself. The clinic advertises a free assessment. It describes the first visit as a consultation where a provider reviews your history and builds a plan, but it does not say whether that visit carries a charge. It also does not say whether medication is included in any fee, or whether it offers HSA payment, financing or membership terms.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs your prescription and whether you will see the same prescriber at each visit. Ask whether the monthly fee includes medication, and whether the drugs are brand-name or compounded, since the clinic names Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound without saying how its medication is supplied. Ask what follow-up visits, check-ins and lab work cost, and what the free assessment includes. Ask how cancellation works and whether there is a contract. Ask whether any visit can be done by video, since telehealth is not mentioned. Ask what to do if you have side effects and how to reach your provider after hours. Finally, ask which office you will use, because hours differ by location and one San Jose office is by appointment only.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person medical weight loss with a named physician, can pay cash, and live near San Jose or Redwood City. If you need hormone or peptide therapy, which the clinic does not list, look for a practice that offers it.
