About Thrive PRP Med
What is Thrive PRP Med?
Thrive PRP Med is a cash-pay clinic at 1331 Medical Center Drive, Suite E, in Rohnert Park, California. Its main focus is menopause care and medical weight loss, with PRP injections and other services alongside. Jennifer Peterson, MSN, is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner with more than 25 years of clinical experience, and she is a prescriber. Dr. Zach Wagner, DO, the medical director, is board-certified in family medicine and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He is also a prescriber.
The clinic offers menopause care, weight loss care, rejuvenation therapies, intimate wellness, wellness, aesthetics and PRP hair loss. Visits are in person or by telehealth, and it serves men and women across Sonoma County, including Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol and Healdsburg. The one brand-name medication it names is XEOMIN, a neurotoxin. In its own words: "This is not a med spa or a one-size-fits-all weight loss clinic." Google shows a 5-star rating from 25 reviews.
What does it cost?
The initial consultation is $275 for a one-hour visit, and that fee goes toward your program if you move forward. The 3-month weight loss package is $750. It includes the consultation, follow-up visits and basic lab testing, but medication is not included. Menopause follow-up visits are $175 each, and weight loss ongoing management is also $175. Joint PRP is $800, vaginal PRP is $1,000, a PRP and StemWave package is $1,800, and PRP hair restoration is $750 per treatment. Most services are self-pay, and all costs are discussed before treatment begins. After you are on a stable regimen, check-ins happen every 3 months.
In its own words: "Our programs include a complimentary first month of your GLP-1 medication." It does not say what that medication costs after the first month. It does not publish HSA, financing or cancellation terms.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs each prescription, and which GLP-1 medication the clinic uses. Ask whether that medication is brand-name or compounded and what it costs each month. Because the $750 package leaves medication out, ask for the full monthly total in writing. Ask what micro-dosing involves and whether it costs extra.
Ask what lab work costs beyond the basic testing, and what follow-up visits cost after your first 3 months. Ask how cancellation works and whether the $275 is refunded if you decide not to go forward, since the clinic does not say. Ask what hours the clinic keeps, since it does not list them. Ask which services, if any, are billed to insurance, and get an estimate in writing before treatment starts. If you want peptide or longevity care, ask directly, since the clinic does not name those services.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are in the Sonoma County area, want menopause care or medical weight loss, and are ready to pay out of pocket for a nurse practitioner to follow your care over several months. It is less clear a fit if you are looking for peptide or longevity medicine, which the clinic does not name.
