What is URENEWED?

URENEWED is a med spa with offices in Ripon, Stockton and Modesto, California. Most of what it offers is aesthetic work: Botox, Dysport and Daxxify, dermal fillers, lip enhancements, SkinVive, microneedling with PRP or PDGF+, BIO Gel Filler, and several laser treatments aimed at acne, redness, texture and pigment. Its wellness side is smaller. It offers hormone balancing, vitamin injections (B-12 and glutathione are named), and medical weight loss support.

The weight loss program uses GLP-1 medication. In its own words: "Thoughtful, medically guided weight loss support with GLP-1 therapy." It does not name a specific drug.

Gina McCay, FNP, is the only prescriber named. Her name and credential appear beside hormone balancing and wellness consultations, and that care is placed at Restorative Wellness, which is not clearly this clinic. The clinic does not say who prescribes the GLP-1 medication. Its team page lists six first names, Janna, Jessie, Raeanne, Monica, Raegan and Ela, with no credentials beside any of them. Google lists the business as a weight loss service, with a 4.8 rating from 20 reviews.

What does it cost?

URENEWED does not publish prices for any service, and it gives no consultation fee. It does not say whether the GLP-1 medication is part of any weight loss fee, whether it accepts insurance, or whether it offers telehealth visits. Before you book, ask for each cost in writing: the first visit, the weight loss program with and without medication, and the specific aesthetic treatment you're considering.

What should you ask before you book?

Who writes the GLP-1 prescription, and what credential does that person hold? Ask whether the prescriber works at URENEWED or somewhere else. If Gina McCay, FNP, is the person you expect to see, ask where she sees patients, since her hormone care is placed at Restorative Wellness.

Is the medication brand-name or compounded? Does the weight loss fee include the medication, follow-up visits and lab work? If not, what does each one cost?

How do you cancel a monthly plan, and is there a minimum commitment?

For injectable and laser work, ask which credential each injector holds, since the team page gives no credentials. Hours differ by town, so confirm which office you would visit and when it is open. Ask whether any part of the weight loss program can be done by video.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you mainly want aesthetic treatments and are also interested in hormone or weight loss care, and you are willing to get the prescriber and costs confirmed in writing before you pay. It is a weaker fit if you want a named physician to manage a GLP-1 program, because the clinic does not name one for that service.
