About Bright Wellness
What is Bright Wellness?
Bright Wellness is a wellness and aesthetics center at 1108 Ward Avenue, Suite D16, in Patterson, California. Most of what it does is cosmetic: Botox, Dysport and Xeomin injections, Sculptra, fillers, laser treatments, facials, waxing and medical grade skin products. Its wellness side includes hormone management, weight loss management, IV hydration and vitamin therapy, and health promotion. It does not list peptide therapy or longevity medicine among its services.
Dr. Garth Tanner, MD, is the medical director. Lisa Brush, NP, is described as a hormone and weight loss specialist. Nandeesh Veerappa, MD, is also a prescriber. The clinic describes Dr. Garth B. Tanner as a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who has served the Modesto community for more than 25 years. Kim Barbaste, LE, is an advanced facial specialist, and Johanna Chavez is a medical assistant. Neither of them prescribes.
Hours are listed as Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 to 19:00, Wednesday 08:30 to 17:00, and Friday 10:00 to 17:00, though the clinic also says it works by appointment only. Google shows a 5 rating from 32 reviews.
What does it cost?
The only prices it publishes are visit fees: $125 for an intake visit and $55 for follow-up visits, charged at the time of the visit. Laser hair removal packages run $600, $1000 or $1600 for five sessions, depending on the treatment area. It does not publish prices for weight loss or hormone therapy, and it does not say whether medication is included in any price.
On insurance, provider time is not billed to insurance, though some plans reimburse the patient directly. The clinic accepts most HSA and FSA accounts, CareCredit and the Benny Card. Lab tests and imaging may be billed to insurance, and tests insurance does not approve can be paid out of pocket after the cost is reviewed with you. It does not describe membership terms or how cancellation works.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the hormone or weight loss prescription, and whether that same clinician handles follow-up. Ask which weight loss medication is used, if any, and whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask whether a monthly fee would include the medication, and what follow-up visits and bloodwork cost over a year. Ask whether telehealth is available, since the clinic does not say. Ask how cancellation works if you join any ongoing program.
In its own words: "Lisa prefers to individualize testing and treatment so that the pace, price, and lifestyle impact are doable for each person." It is reasonable to ask her to walk you through that plan and its price before you commit.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you live near Patterson, want to be seen in person, and are mainly looking for hormone evaluation or aesthetic work in one office. It is a weaker fit if you need a published weight loss price or telehealth care, since neither is listed.
