California Physicians Group is a weight-loss and aesthetics practice at 301 N Lake Ave in Pasadena, run by Anjmun Sharma, MD. It prescribes semaglutide and tirzepatide and also sells body-contouring and skin treatments. What it costs is the one thing you cannot find out in advance. The practice publishes no price for anything: no consultation fee, no monthly rate, no medication cost.
## What do they actually offer?
The home page lists Nutritional Testing, Aesthetics & Wellness, Contouring/Spot Reduction, Stretch Mark Fading, Cellulite Elimination, Skin Tightening, an FDA Approved Laser, a 3-D Body Scanner, Erectile Dysfunction care and something called ReJoy. The weight-loss side names two drugs, semaglutide and tirzepatide. Medication is also offered as a troche, described as medicated lozenges that dissolve in the mouth, which allows the medication to work quickly in the body while also avoiding metabolism by the liver. The product is described as "a custom-blended medication that is individually formulated for each patient", which means compounded, and no FDA compounding disclaimer appears anywhere on the site. Two marketing claims on the same page should be set aside rather than repeated: a GLP-1 called "doctor-prescribed, all-natural", and a long-term result of 30 percent body weight lost.
## What does it cost?
Nothing is published. We read the home page, the how-it-works page, the about page, the FAQ and the financing page on 22 September 2026 and found no figure for any service. One trap is worth naming. The financing page prints a cost-comparison block listing "Medical Consults: $800 - $1,000+ per month", "Diet Programs: $1,000+ per month", "Body Contouring: $5,000 - $10,000 and Up" and "Weight Loss Surgery: $25,000 and Up". Those are the page's characterisation of competing options. They are not this clinic's prices. The same page's "Purchases of $200 or more" is a minimum-spend floor for Advance Care Card and CareCredit promotional financing, not a treatment price.
## Can you use insurance here?
The clinic never states whether it accepts or bills insurance. The financing page instead walks through the patient's own coverage, noting that Medicare does not cover medicines for obesity, that the VA will cover obesity management, and that employer, Medicaid, Tricare and ACA coverage vary. For the uninsured it offers "a 1 year same as cash financing". That reads like a cash-and-financed practice, but the clinic has not said so.
## Who will you see, and how does it work?
Anjmun Sharma, MD is the named physician. His published detail includes board certification in family practice, a Doctor of Medicine from ROSS University, a family practice residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, and fifteen years specialising in weight loss. Three further staff are listed by first name only, Patty, Mason and Michelle, and none is a prescriber. The FAQ states, exclamation marks and all: "We are also a tele-med clinic! In Home Health Visits are Now available! where we can come to YOU for this breakthrough weight loss medication!" No states are named. No business hours, service area, membership, eligibility statement or step-by-step process is published; the how-it-works page ends by asking visitors to call.
