About YouthFill MD

What is YouthFill MD?

YouthFill MD is an aesthetic medspa with eight locations across Southern California, and its service area runs from Irvine to Oxnard. Its main work is cosmetic injectables: Botox, Dysport and other neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Kybella, Opus Plasma, Ulthera, laser hair removal, microneedling, B12 shots and cortisone for acne. Weight loss is one service among these, a GLP-1 program built on tirzepatide. Google lists the business as a medical spa, with a 4.8 rating from 42 reviews.

The practice is led by Dr. David Hopp, a Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon. The clinic lists him as Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery, Western University. The clinic does not name who prescribes the weight-loss injection. It also does not publish a street address, phone number or office hours, so you will need to ask for those before you go.

The weight-loss page names tirzepatide and Zepbound™. It describes tirzepatide as a peptide and says it is meant to support your health goals. The word "peptide" is worth pinning down, because it does not tell you whether the drug is the brand-name product or a version made by a compounding pharmacy.

This listing is for its Oxnard office at 630 Town Center Dr.

What does it cost?

The weight-loss injection is listed at $89 per injection. The clinic does not say whether that price includes the medication. It does not state a consultation fee, whether insurance is accepted, or whether telehealth is offered. No cancellation terms are given for the weight-loss program.

The memberships are priced for cosmetic services. A BOTOX membership is $139 a month with a 6-month minimum commitment. The YFMD Luxe Membership is a $99 annual fee for 20% off services and treatments. Two Beauty Bank options pay into a prepaid account at $79 and $129 a month. The clinic does not say whether any of these apply to the weight-loss injection. Its return policy says all sales are final, with exchanges allowed only within 14 days of purchase.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with the prescriber. Ask who writes the prescription for the weight-loss injection, whether a clinician examines you before the first dose, and who you contact between injections. The program page tells patients to follow their provider's advice, but it does not name one.

Then ask about the product and the money. Is the injection brand-name Zepbound™, or a compounded or peptide version? Is the medication included in the $89? What do follow-up visits, lab work and a consultation cost, if anything? How do you cancel, and how does the all-sales-final policy apply to a product you buy one injection at a time?

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want cosmetic injectables and a weight-loss injection from one practice, and you are willing to get answers on the prescriber, the medication and cancellation before you pay. It is a weaker fit if you want a clinic whose main work is medical weight management with a named physician, since weight loss is one service here and no prescriber is named for it.
