What is Celebrating Women Center?
Celebrating Women Center is a gynecology and cosmetic practice at 1801 Solar Drive, Suite 155, in Oxnard, California. Its main work is gynecologic care and cosmetic procedures, and it describes itself as a gynecologist and cosmetic specialist. Its listed services are gynecology, Botox and fillers, face lift, FemiLift, liposuction, microneedling, PRP, and vaginal rejuvenation. It also offers medical weight loss and hormone therapy.
Adrienne E. Lara, MD, is the physician named as prescriber. Her page says she is a Boston University School of Medicine graduate who started her healthcare career as a nurse and speaks English and Spanish. Its weight loss plans are called Medical Weight Loss Plans including Prescription Options and DNA Insights, and the office says it is the only office in Oxnard offering them. The office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and closed on weekends. It names Oxnard, Ventura, Camarillo, Ojai, and Thousand Oaks as the areas it serves. Its Google listing shows a 4.8 rating from 152 reviews. In its own words: "Women Deserve Options."
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for weight loss or hormone therapy. It gives no consultation fee and does not say whether medication is included in any plan fee. It also does not say whether insurance is accepted, so ask before you assume either way.
The only payment option it names is Cherry, a monthly payment plan. Cherry says it qualifies patients for up to $10,000.00, does not run a hard credit check, and offers zero percent financing on approval. The regular APR runs from 9.99% to 35.99%, and a down payment may be required. Patients must be at least 18 and have a bank debit card. Read the Cherry terms yourself before you apply, since the rate depends on approval.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and whether Dr. Lara sees you before any medication is prescribed. Ask whether any weight loss plan has a monthly fee, and if it does, whether that fee includes the medication. Ask whether the medication is brand name or compounded and what it is called, since no medication names are published. Ask for the consultation fee and what follow-up visits and lab work cost.
Ask whether telehealth is offered, because the office does not say. Ask whether insurance is accepted. If you plan to use Cherry, ask how to cancel and whether the plan has a membership term, because cancellation terms are not stated. For hormone therapy, ask what the care involves and what it costs.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want gynecologic care and cosmetic procedures from one office in Oxnard, and you are comfortable asking about prices by phone before you commit. The office does not publish prices, so you will need to call (805) 988-7577 to ask.
