Plump Club memberships are billed annually. Essentials is $1,200 per year, Signature is $2,200 per year, and Elite is $3,200 per year. Balance, at $2,500 per year, carries membership pricing on the weight management program and includes nutritional monitoring. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not state cancellation terms for memberships. It lists payment plans and Cherry and CareCredit financing.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which office your weekly injections happen at. The weight loss information places them at the Santa Ana clinic, and it does not say which office the physician sees patients at for the rest of the program.
Ask whether the price includes the medication, and whether it is the brand-name product or a compounded version. The clinic states neither. Ask how often each price is charged, since the $600.00 figure is not tied to a period.
Ask what the consultation, follow-up visits and lab work cost, because monthly lab monitoring is part of the program. Ask how a membership or treatment plan is cancelled and whether any fees are refundable. Ask whether it accepts insurance or whether financing is the main way to pay.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want treatment and weight management done in person by a physician, you are paying out of pocket, and you are comfortable asking for prices before you book. It is not a fit if you need telehealth prescribing or a clinic that quotes every price up front. If it sounds right, it is worth calling and asking the questions above first.
