About NV WELLNESS

What is NV WELLNESS?

NV WELLNESS is a cash-pay wellness clinic at 16912 San Fernando Mission Blvd in Granada Hills, California. Its main service is weight loss treatment with GLP-1 injections, including a tirzepatide option. It also offers IV therapy and vitamin injections, and an initial consultation comes before weight loss treatment.

The initial consultation is a 30 minute visit where your labs are reviewed and a plan is made. Labs can be drawn at the clinic or at a lab nearby, and visits can be in person or by telehealth. NV WELLNESS mentions doctors on site, but it does not name who prescribes. Nora Nazerian-Vartkessian is named as the owner, who started the business after struggling to lose weight herself. Google shows a 5 rating from 7 reviews. It does not publish hours.

What does it cost?

The consultation fee is $180. The medication fee is listed separately, starting at $375 a month for local patients and $500 for patients out of state. On the price guide, the GLP-1 monthly fee rises by treatment stage, from $375 in weeks 1 to 4 up to $625 a month at the maintenance dose. Tirzepatide is sold by vial, at $600 for one vial or $850 for two.

Vitamin injections are priced per shot or per package. A B12 injection is $30, or $100 for four. A Lipo-Mino Mix injection is $55, $200 for four, or $440 for eight. B Complex is $40 for one or $120 for four. Glutathione and Tri-Immune are $50 each.

Insurance does not cover these medications. In its own words: "No. These medications are not covered by insurance for people who are not diabetic type 2." Payment can be spread out through Vagaro Pay Later, which lets you pay weekly once you buy a membership. It does not publish membership terms or cancellation rules.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs your prescription and what their credentials are. No prescriber is named, so get a name before you pay.

Ask whether the $180 consultation is paid before the medication starts. The clinic does not say.

Ask whether each medication is brand name or compounded. NV WELLNESS says a compounded medication is available at a lower cost, and it describes tirzepatide as a new investigational drug. Ask what each of those means for your treatment.

Ask what the medication fee covers, and whether follow-up visits and lab work cost extra. Ask how the monthly price changes between treatment stages and who decides when you move to the next one.

Ask about membership terms and how to cancel, and get the answers in writing. The phone number is 747-294-1499.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you plan to pay cash for weight loss medication or vitamin injections, can attend in person or by telehealth, and want to know who prescribes before you book. If you need a named prescriber, published hours, or written membership terms before you pay, call and ask first.
