About B12 LOVE
What is B12 LOVE?
B12 LOVE is a group of offices across the Bay Area. It started with vitamin injections and IV drips, and the site dates its founding to 2013. Most of its menu is still nutrient injections, IV drips, NAD+ therapies and aesthetic treatments such as Botox and dermal filler. It also offers medical weight loss, testosterone therapy and peptide therapy. Its peptide menu includes sermorelin, which the site describes as a prescription peptide given by injection. The copyright line names Gallegos Naturopathic PC, doing business as B12 LOVE, and Google files it under naturopathic practitioner, with a 5-star rating from 124 reviews. Offices are in San Francisco (Embarcadero Center and Marina/Cow Hollow), Pleasanton, Montclair Village, Walnut Creek, Greenbrae, Mill Valley, Napa, Novato and Campbell. No street addresses are given.
What does it cost?
The medical weight loss intro visit is $279 at regular price or $224 for Club members. It includes a 30-minute consult, a nutrition and lifestyle plan, a guidebook, 20% off supplements, and one signature cocktail shot or a Medical Weight Loss Shot. Medication is priced separately. The Medical Weight Loss Shot is $40 per mg regular or $32 per mg Club, and the Triple G Shot is $60 or $48. Sublingual Semaglutide is $995 for two months at regular price or $796 Club. In its own words: "Our only oral peptide that is shipped directly to you." It is not stated whether that figure covers the medication alone or more.
Testosterone starts with a consultation, listed at $229 regular or $184 Club in one section and $149 or $120 Club in another. An at-home lab kit is $79 or $64 Club. Individual doses run from $35 to $55 at regular price and $28 to $44 Club. It does not say whether a dose price is per injection or per month. Club members get 20% off services and free service credits each month, but the membership fee is not shown beside the Club prices. Insurance is not mentioned.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription and whether you will see that person. The site names no prescriber. Its testosterone description refers to Functional Medicine Doctors and Nurse Practitioners without naming any of them. Ask whether the semaglutide or shot price includes the medication, and whether the peptides are brand-name or compounded, since it says its peptides come from compounding pharmacies. Ask what follow-up visits and labs cost. Testosterone visits are scheduled every 3 months in the first year. Ask whether it takes insurance, how virtual visits work (the testosterone booking form offers a telemedicine option), and how to cancel Club membership. The patient coordinator's number is 415-580-0033.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you already know you want an IV, an injection or a testosterone consultation at one of these offices, and you are ready to get the prescriber, medication and monthly cost confirmed before you pay. It is a weaker fit if you need a named physician or one all-in price before your first visit.
