About Empyre MD

What is The Cherish Methods Medical Spa?

The Cherish Methods Medical Spa is a medical spa at 3860 Balfour Road, Suite B, in Brentwood, CA 94513. It describes its work as caring for the mind, health, and beauty under one roof. It lists six services: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), IV hydration and infusion, weight management, injectables, and facials. Its About page also mentions mind health therapy and stress leave management. Hormone therapy and weight management are two services among several, so it reads as a general medical spa with a weight program, not a weight loss clinic.

The only prescriber the site names is Mosesal White, a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). The rest of the team includes two operations managers who are also aesthetic nurses, an IV nurse, and a front desk esthetician. On weight management, in its own words: "Our program is holistic and medically supervised, focusing on sustainable lifestyle changes, nutritional education, and metabolic support rather than just quick fixes." It has one Google review, rated 5.

What does it cost?

The only prices it publishes are for two monthly memberships. The Glow Membership is $139 a month. It includes 10% off Glo2Facial services and retail products, 5% off other services, and a free Super MIC B12 IM injection each month. The Elite Membership is $189 a month. It includes 15% off services, 10% off retail products, two free IM injections a month (Super MIC B12, Glutathione, or Vitamin C), complimentary consultations, and the before and after hours fee waived. Both apply the membership fee toward services or products and let you roll over unused monthly fee. Both carry a commitment: "3 Month Membership Commitment Required." Discounts cannot be stacked with other offers.

It does not publish prices for BHRT, weight management, or any other service. It does not say whether medication is included in any price, whether it accepts insurance for these programs, or what a consultation costs. For its therapy sessions, it says it is pending direct insurance billing and can provide a superbill you may submit for possible reimbursement.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription for hormone therapy and for weight management. The weight management page says the clinic's physicians may prescribe medication when appropriate, but the only prescriber named is a nurse practitioner. Ask which clinician will be your prescriber and whether a physician is involved.

Ask whether the membership fee or any program price includes medication, and what the medication costs on its own. The BHRT page describes the pellets as custom-compounded, so ask what that means for the product you would receive, and whether the medication is brand-name or compounded in any other program. Ask what the lab testing before BHRT costs, and what follow-up visits and lab work cost after that.

Ask whether any part of the program can be done by telehealth, and what the clinic's hours are, since neither is published. Finally, ask how you cancel a membership during the three-month commitment and whether any part of the fee is refunded if you leave early.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want hormone therapy or weight management alongside IV, mind, or aesthetic care in one Brentwood office, and you are comfortable asking who prescribes and what the medication costs before you book. It is a weaker fit if you need published prices for the program you want, since the only prices on the site are for memberships.
