What is Monaco Aesthetics & Wellness?
Monaco Aesthetics & Wellness is a medspa at 9510 Flushing Quail Rd Suite 122 in Bakersfield, CA 93312, inside Image Studios. Most of its services are aesthetic and skin care: laser resurfacing, chemical peels, microneedling, hydrafacials, hair restoration, Botox, and dermal fillers. It is led by board-certified nurse practitioners and serves Bakersfield, Rosedale, Seven Oaks, and Kern County. It has a 5 rating on Google from 48 reviews, and the phone number is 661.456.2044.
The weight loss service is a monthly membership called the Weight Loss Wellness Program. It pairs weekly GLP-1 injections of semaglutide or tirzepatide with two DEXA body composition scans, one free 1:1 coaching session, and special pricing on local gym memberships. The membership names Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound as the brands those ingredients come from. HRT is offered to women in perimenopause, menopause, and hormonal imbalance, with a consultation, follow-up visits, and a treatment plan reviewed monthly. No prescriber is named for either service.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. No membership fee, consultation fee, HRT visit cost, or treatment price appears anywhere. The membership description says your medications are included in the monthly investment, but it never puts a number on that investment. Insurance acceptance, cancellation terms, and financing are not stated either. The navigation lists a Payment Plans link, so ask what it covers before you book.
Ongoing coaching beyond the one free session is available at an additional fee, and that fee is not listed. Ask for it in writing so you can compare it with the membership cost.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription for the GLP-1 medication and for HRT, and get that name in writing before you pay. Ask whether the monthly fee covers the medication itself or only visits and monitoring. Ask whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide is brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it.
The supplement discount is listed as 10% in one place and 20% in another, so ask which one applies. Ask what follow-up visits, lab work, and any DEXA scans beyond the two included will cost. Ask how the membership is cancelled and whether it has a minimum term. For HRT, ask which labs are required and what the consultation costs. Finally, ask whether telehealth is offered and whether insurance is accepted.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic or skin work along with a supervised weight loss membership or HRT from one Bakersfield clinic, and you are ready to confirm the prescriber, the medication source, and the full monthly cost before you pay. If you need a published price or insurance billing before you decide, call 661.456.2044 first and ask.
