What is Ozark Men's Health?
Ozark Men's Health is a men's health practice at The Ledger, 240 S Main Street, in downtown Bentonville, Arkansas. Hormone care is its main focus. It also offers medical weight loss with GLP-1 therapy, peptide therapy with sermorelin, longevity medicine, nutrient optimization, and ED and hair restoration medications.
Cody Tompkins, APRN, FNP-BC, is the founder, sole provider and only named prescriber. He holds full independent practice authority in Arkansas and spent four and a half years as a nurse practitioner in internal medicine at Mercy in Rogers. The practice says it is LegitScript certified, and you can verify that on LegitScript's website. It has one Google review, rated 5.
In-person visits are on Wednesdays, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Telehealth runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, but only for patients located in Arkansas. The phone number is (479) 446-6972.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. No consultation fee, membership fee or medication price is listed, so ask for each one before you book. Care is cash-pay only, and no insurance is billed. Payment is collected when you book.
The practice says every evaluation and membership includes lab work, drawn at Quest Diagnostics in Bentonville. In its own words: "Your membership covers medications, follow-up labs, and visits. No surprise fees added at each appointment." Its weight loss description, however, says medication is billed separately from the management fee. Membership cancellation terms are not stated.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask for the consultation fee and the monthly fee for each program you are considering, and whether that fee includes the medication for that program. The practice's wording differs between testosterone and weight loss, so get the answer in writing.
Ask whether the GLP-1 medication is brand-name or compounded, since the practice does not say. It names Empower Pharmacy for mailed prescriptions, so ask whether you would use that pharmacy and how it bills you. Confirm that Cody Tompkins, APRN, FNP-BC, signs the prescriptions. Ask what you would still pay if the evaluation finds treatment is not appropriate, since completing an evaluation does not guarantee a prescription.
Ask what follow-up labs and visits cost outside a membership, how to cancel, and whether there is a minimum term. If you are interested in the ED or hair medications, which are add-ons, ask their price too.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want one clinician who follows your hormone or metabolic care over time, you plan to pay cash, and you can attend a Wednesday visit in Bentonville or do telehealth from Arkansas. It may not suit you if you live outside Arkansas, since telehealth is limited to Arkansas patients, or if you need published prices before you call.
