What is Hale Longevity?
Hale Longevity is a longevity medicine practice located in St. George. Its core services are medical weight loss, hormone therapy, peptide therapy and longevity programs. It also offers regenerative medicine, advanced diagnostics, men's health, nutritional coaching and IV infusions. Its weight loss prescriptions include semaglutide and other GLP-1 medications, offered as injectables or oral forms.
Matthew R. Peterson, MD, founded the practice and serves as its medical director. Kaylynn Peterson is a co-founder who coaches clients and develops the signature programs. The practice describes over 20 years of experience delivering personalized care that prevents and treats symptoms at their root.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for any program, and it does not say whether medication is included. The 12-week weight loss program and the Signature 12-Week Longevity Protocol are described in detail, with no fee attached. The first step is a 15-minute discovery call, which the clinic calls complimentary. In its own words: "This complimentary 15-minute virtual consultation is for informational purposes only and is not a medical appointment."
It describes itself as a cash-based medical practice. It does not state whether it bills insurance, so ask. It does not publish financing, HSA terms, membership terms or a cancellation fee.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the monthly program fee covers the medication. A program fee and a drug cost can be separate charges, and it does not say which applies here. Ask whether the GLP-1 medication is brand-name or compounded, since it does not say that either. Ask who writes and renews the prescription, and whether the weekly check-ins with the medical team are included in the program or billed separately.
Ask what lab work costs and whether it is billed on top of the program, because the program starts with labs. Ask how to cancel and whether a fee applies. Ask whether it sees patients in person, and ask for a street address, phone number and hours, since none are published. Ask whether it bills insurance at all.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a longevity or medical weight loss program with a physician named as medical director, and you are willing to get the price, medication terms and cancellation rules in writing before you enroll. It is worth calling first if you need an in-person visit, since the practice publishes no street address and does not say whether it sees patients in person.
