What is Vitae Integrative Medical Center?
Vitae Integrative Medical Center is mainly a primary care and integrative medicine practice at 800 Cordova Street in Anchorage, Alaska. Weight loss and hormone care are two of its services, alongside holistic medicine, mental health, acupuncture, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, men's health, women's medicine and lab services. Five prescribers are named: Christine Sagan, APRN, FNP-BC, MSN; Staci Johnson, APRN; Debby Maloney, APRN, FNP-BC, MSN; Shannon Tesnow, APRN, DNP, FNP-BC; and Dr. Natalie Wiggins, ND, a naturopathic physician. Christine Sagan has been a board-certified family nurse practitioner in private practice since 2007.
The office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a lunch closure from 12:30 to 1:30pm. The phone number is 907-929-2222, and it has a 4.7 rating on Google from 104 reviews. Its weight loss program is built around monthly visits. In its own words: "Guided by our medical team, this program combines monthly provider visits with targeted tools like peptides, nutrient injections, and lifestyle support."
What does it cost?
It does not publish a price for weight loss or hormone therapy, and it does not publish a consultation fee. Its Weight Loss Optimization Membership has two tiers, and both require a six-month commitment. The Standard tier is billed to insurance and includes one medical visit a month. The Deluxe tier is for patients without insurance or who do not want insurance billed, and its visit is not billed to insurance. Both tiers include a weekly weight loss injection, given in the office or at home, plus monthly B12/MIC and Vitamin D3 injections in the office. Both also include 50% off Vitality Plus, which regularly costs $100 a year.
It says it accepts most major insurance plans. Its price list names Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Moda and TriWest as preferred insurers. Its visit prices are listed by billing level: new patient visits run from $270 to $610, and established patient visits run from $85 for a nurse visit to $435 at the highest level. The price list also notes a 10% increase beginning August 25, 2025, so ask which figures apply today.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the weight loss prescription, since it does not say which prescriber runs that program. Ask whether hormone therapy is prescribed by a physician, because it does not say that either. The weight loss medication is not named, so ask what it is, whether it is brand-name or compounded, and whether the monthly fee covers the weekly injection itself. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost on top of the membership.
Ask whether any visits can be done by video, since it does not say. Ask how the six-month commitment works, whether you can leave early, and what that costs. If you plan to bill insurance, verify your benefits first, because the clinic notes that some insurance plans do not cover Dr. Wiggins's services.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want primary care, weight loss and hormone care under one roof, can commit to six months, and are comfortable paying a monthly membership fee. It suits someone who will ask for the monthly price, the medication details and the cancellation terms in writing before paying anything.
