What is DexaFit Mobile?
DexaFit Mobile is a body testing and fitness business at 2864 Dauphin St. Suite A in Mobile, Alabama 36606. The phone number is (251) 300-8724. Michael Smith, PA, and Blake Martin founded it in 2022. Its medical services are provided by Telomere Concierge, LLC, which was formerly Connexus Clinic. It is mainly a testing business, with GLP-1 weight loss as one of five services. The others are a DEXA body scan that measures body composition, visceral fat and bone health, a VO2 max fitness test, resting metabolic rate testing, and Smart Gym. Hormone therapy is not a listed service.
The GLP-1 program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide, and the consultation is with its PA. Telehealth appointments are available for that consultation. In its own words: "Talk with our PA to determine if GLP-1 weight loss is right for you." Hours are 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 2 PM Friday, and by appointment on Saturday. It is closed Sunday.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for any service, including the GLP-1 program and the consultation. It does not say whether medication is included in any price, and it does not say whether it accepts insurance. Medication is picked up in person at the first education appointment, and refills are picked up at the Mobile office.
Because no prices are listed, ask for the cost of each step before you book: the consultation, the medication, the first body scan, follow-up visits, and any lab work.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription. Michael Smith, PA, is the only PA named, so ask whether he is the one who signs it and who handles follow-up prescriptions.
Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and whether the program fee covers it. Ask whether telehealth visits cost the same as in-person ones.
Ask what happens after the first months. Find out what follow-up visits, coaching and lab work cost, and whether they are required to stay on the program.
Ask how cancellation works, whether there is a minimum commitment, and whether you can get the full terms in writing before you pay.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want body composition testing or a fitness assessment, are considering a GLP-1 program run through a PA, can come to Mobile or do the consultation by telehealth, and are ready to pay cash without a published price. If you need a published price before you call, it may not suit you yet.
