What is Sweat Equity Infrared Saunas?
Sweat Equity Infrared Saunas is an infrared sauna and IV studio at 809 S St Mary's St in San Antonio, TX 78205. Its main business is infrared sauna and recovery sessions, including full spectrum infrared sauna cabins, a four-person cabin, a Cocoon Wellness Infrared Pod, contrast therapy with a cold plunge, whole body cryotherapy and compression therapy. It also offers IV vitamin drips and injectables, ozone IV therapy, NAD+ infusions and peptide therapy, which is one of nine services. Its peptide menu names BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, Sermorelin and MOTS-C. It does not name a prescriber or say who gives the peptide injections. The studio is open Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 7:00PM, Saturday 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Sunday 10:00AM to 4:00PM. The phone number is (210) 375-5319.
What does it cost?
The peptide page gives $400 a month for the CJC-1295 with Ipamorelin stack, the BPC-157 with TB-500 stack and MOTS-C, and $300 a month for Sermorelin, each with a recommended 3-month cycle. The pricing page lists 20 injections for BPC-157 with TB-500, CJC-1295 with Ipamorelin and Sermorelin, and 12 injections for MOTS-C. It does not say whether the medication is included in those monthly prices. It does not publish a consultation fee, and it does not say whether insurance is accepted.
Other services are priced per session or per package. A 30-minute infrared sauna session is $35, and a 45-minute contrast therapy session is $45. A basic IV vitamin bag is $99 to $119, and a single NAD+ IV bag is $599. The Highway to Heal membership is $199 a month for one person or $319 for a couple, with unlimited sauna services. Military and senior customers get 15% off single services. In its own words: "Members enjoy priority access, bundled savings, and 15% off single services, vitamin injectables, and most IV drips." For contrast therapy and the large infrared sauna, a booking cancelled within four hours of the appointment is charged the full service price. It does not state a cancellation rule for peptide packages.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who prescribes the peptides and who gives each injection, because neither is named. Ask whether the monthly price includes the medication, and whether the peptides are brand-name or compounded. Ask whether the 3-month cycle is required or only recommended. Ask what the consultation costs, and what follow-up visits or lab work cost, if anything. Ask whether it bills insurance. Ask how a peptide package is cancelled or paused, since the published cancellation terms name only contrast therapy and the large sauna. Ask which hours apply to peptide visits, because the peptide page lists a separate nurse room schedule that differs from the studio hours.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want sauna, cold plunge, cryotherapy or IV sessions in San Antonio, and peptides are one option among many. If peptide injections are the main reason you are calling, get the prescriber, the person giving the injections and the monthly terms confirmed in writing before you book.
