What is Revive Hive?
Revive Hive is a wellness and recovery lounge at 254 N Sycamore Street, Newtown, PA 18940. Most of what it sells is cryotherapy, red light therapy, PEMF, sauna and cold plunge, and massage. Peptide therapy is the medical service on the menu. In its own words: "At Revive Hive, peptide therapy is prescribed and overseen by our board-certified medical director."
That director is Dr. Aaron Shapiro, MD, the only prescriber the clinic names. He is double board-certified in facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology (ENT). Peptide therapy is used to support recovery, energy, sleep quality, and general wellness. It does not name the specific peptides it uses. Every plan starts with a consultation.
The lounge is open Monday through Thursday, 6:45 AM to 8 PM, Friday and Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM. Google lists it as a wellness center with a 4.9 rating from 79 reviews. It names Newtown, Yardley, Langhorne, Richboro, Washington Crossing, and Doylestown as the towns it serves.
What does it cost?
Memberships are where the published prices are. Downstairs Unlimited is $249 a month and covers unlimited infrared sauna, PEMF, red light, compression, and cryotherapy. Whole Building Unlimited is $279 a month and adds the private upstairs room with a traditional sauna and cold plunge. UNO is $129 a month for one therapy, and the Flex Pass is $89 a month plus $10 per therapy. The unlimited plans, UNO, and the Flex Pass are month to month, and you can cancel anytime. A day pass is $149, and a single infrared sauna session is $40.
It does not publish a price for peptide therapy or a consultation fee. It also does not say whether a peptide plan includes the medication, or whether it accepts insurance. Its three and six month programs are wellness routines, and they are not a medical treatment.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the peptide prescription, whether Dr. Shapiro reviews each plan himself, and how many prescribers see patients, since the clinic does not say. Ask whether a peptide plan price includes the medication, and whether that medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask what the consultation costs, and what follow-up visits and lab work cost, if anything. Ask whether any part of the consultation can be done by telehealth, which the clinic does not address. Ask whether insurance covers any of it, and how a peptide plan can be canceled, since the month to month terms given are for memberships.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want recovery sessions in a lounge setting and you are considering peptide therapy as one part of a plan that a physician reviews before anything starts. If you need a peptide price before you call, expect to learn it at the consultation, because none is published.
