What is Cape Integrative Health?
Cape Integrative Health is a multidisciplinary clinic at 8-10 Hill Way, Unit A, in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. It serves the Greater Portland area and lists South Portland, Scarborough and Portland among its service towns. Most of its work is musculoskeletal care: chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture and regenerative medicine, which it describes as PRP and orthobiologic options. It also offers same-day urgent care and a service called Health Optimization. Google lists the clinic as a medical clinic with a 4.5 rating from 72 reviews.
Health Optimization is the only part of the clinic that touches on peptide therapy. The clinic describes it as emerging peptide therapies guided by its providers.
The clinic does not say which peptides it uses, and it does not name a prescriber for them. Its team page lists chiropractors, acupuncturists and physical therapists. It does not list weight loss, hormone therapy or longevity medicine as services, and it does not say how long it has been open.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for any service, including Health Optimization, and it gives no consultation fee. It says it offers cash rates for all of its services, but the figures are not listed. It also accepts most major insurance plans. Its insurance listing names Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, Medicare, United, and personal injury, automotive and workers' compensation claims, with a separate list of Maine plans that cover acupuncture.
It says it verifies your benefits before care begins. It does not say whether any plan covers peptide therapy, so ask that directly.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who prescribes peptide therapy and whether that provider can see you in person. The clinic offers telehealth only for certain consults and does not say whether peptide visits qualify. Ask which peptides they use, and whether each one is a brand-name drug or a compounded preparation.
Ask whether the monthly or per-visit price includes the medication. Ask what the first visit, follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether any of it is billed separately. Ask how to cancel and whether there is a membership or minimum term. Confirm the opening time before you drive in, because listings show Tuesday through Thursday opening at 6:30am in some places and 7:30am in others.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want hands-on care for joints, muscles or nerves, same-day urgent visits, or acupuncture, and you are willing to ask detailed questions about peptide therapy as an add-on. It is a weaker fit if peptide therapy is the main reason you are calling and you need to know the prescriber, the drug and the full price before you commit.
