What is Live Well Lounge?
Live Well Lounge is an IV and wellness business with lounges in Crescent Springs and Dayton, Kentucky. It also runs a mobile IV service that brings a nurse to homes, hotels, and offices in Florence, across Northern Kentucky, and in Cincinnati, Ohio. It calls itself a functional medspa, but most of what it sells is vitamin IV drips, IV and IM add-ons and shots, and red light, hydrogen and oxygen, and compression sessions. Peptide therapy is one service among these, and it is the only one that includes a telehealth consultation.
The peptides it names are Retatrutide, GHK-Cu, Epithalon, and PT-141. NAD+ appears on the IV menu. Guardian MD is named as medical director. The About section describes physician oversight from an internal medicine provider, but it does not say whether that provider is Guardian MD. Philip Lamar is founder and CEO, with no medical credential given. Google shows a 5 rating from 64 reviews, in the category wellness center. The menu also lists a weight loss plan, but it does not describe what the plan includes or costs.
This listing is for its Dayton office at 304 6th Ave.
What does it cost?
Peptide prices are $499 for Retatrutide, $219 for GHK-Cu, $350 for Epithalon, and $219 for PT-141, with member prices of $449, $189, $299, and $189. It does not say whether those are per dose or per month, or whether the price includes the medication. In its own words: "All of our peptides come reconstituted and include complete protocols, syringes, and medical supervision." That describes what comes with the peptide, not what the price covers.
IV drips run from $99 to $699, with the NAD+ drips at the top end. Red light packages are $47 and $147. Compression and hydrogen and oxygen sessions are $30 for 60 minutes. IV add-ons, including Zofran and Toradol, are $39 each. IM injections are $39 or $49. Mobile visits carry a $50 concierge fee. No consultation fee is published.
It does not accept insurance. It does accept HSA and FSA payments, and one FAQ also mentions HRA and ICHRIA. No financing is mentioned. A membership is not required, and memberships are offered for preferred pricing, but membership fees are not published. Cancellations within 12 hours, missed appointments, and no-shows carry a $50 fee, and the terms ask for 24 hours' notice for a full refund.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription for a peptide. Guardian MD is named as medical director, but the business does not say which physician prescribes or what credentials that person holds. Ask whether the peptide price includes the medication, and whether it covers one dose or a month. Ask whether each peptide is compounded or brand name, and which pharmacy makes it. The business says its products come from compounding pharmacies, so asking for the pharmacy's name is a fair request.
Ask what the telehealth consultation, any lab work, and follow-up visits cost. Confirm the hours before you go, because they are given two ways: Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm, and Monday through Friday with Saturday closed. Ask how the weight loss plan works and what it costs. Ask how cancellations are handled, since the $50 fee and the 24-hour refund window both appear in its policies. The phone number is 859.913.4195.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want IV drips, shots, red light, or compression sessions and you can pay out of pocket or with an HSA or FSA. If peptides are why you are calling, get the prescriber, price, and medication answers in writing before you book.
