About Nurture Yourself Healthcare
What is Nurture Yourself Healthcare?
Nurture Yourself Healthcare is a practice run by Candice Vaknin, APRN, FNP-C, MSN, a nurse practitioner. She is the only prescriber named. Her listed certifications include emergency medicine, critical care certified, nursing assistant instructor, hormone specialist and regenerative medicine specialist. The practice is in Titusville, Florida, according to its map listing. It does not publish a street address or hours, so confirm both before you book.
Its main work is regenerative and integrative care. Services include IV nutrition, vitamin injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), bioenergetic scanning, ozone treatments, trigger point injections, DOT and sports physicals, hormone testing and infrared sauna sessions. Peptide injections are a priced service. Weight loss appears on the list as a bare service name, with no medication or program described. Hormone therapy is not described either. The page lists hormone testing only. Appointments can be booked online, and telehealth visits are offered. In its own words: "All appointments can be completed online at your own convenience."
What does it cost?
A new patient visit is $150 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. That covers a one-time clinic fee, the new patient consult and a treatment plan. An established patient visit is $50 for 30 minutes and covers a well visit, prescription refill, lab request and follow-up, but not hormones. A telehealth well or sick visit is $50.
BPC-157 peptide injections are listed at $35 per area, and one page shows a $350 vial. The unit is not stated the same way on every page, and it does not say whether the $35 includes the medication. PRP is $600 per area, with 25% off a second area. IV nutrition starts at $149 for 45 minutes. Ozone IV saline is $175. A DOT physical is $180, and a sports physical is $35. A full-body bioenergetic scan is $100. Trigger point injections are $75 for one area and $100 for two. Vitamin injections start at $25.
The clinic accepts HSA and FSA payments. Its pages also mention a 3% fee for paying by its Square card service. It says all prices are subject to change. Its listed follow-up schedule is every 3 months for the first year, then every 6 months if stable in later years.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the $35 BPC-157 price includes the medication and what one unit covers. Ask whether the peptide is compounded, and if so, which pharmacy makes it.
Ask what the Weight Loss service involves and whether it includes any prescription medication. Ask what it costs each month. Ask whether hormone visits are priced separately, since the $50 visit excludes hormones.
Ask about the membership. Some services are available only to members, and some cost $10 more for non-patients. Ask which services those are.
The ozone page lists conditions that rule treatment out, including blood thinners. Ask how that screening is done before you pay.
Ask what follow-up and lab work will cost over the first year. Ask how cancellation and refunds work, and whether the 3% card fee applies to your payment.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a nurse practitioner's office for vitamin, IV, PRP or pain-related services, and you are comfortable asking about compounding, membership and billing before you pay. It is a weaker fit if your main goal is a supervised weight loss program or hormone therapy, since neither is described in detail.
