What is True Derm MedSpa?
True Derm MedSpa is a medical spa at 6155 S Main St, Suite #29, inside Sola Salon Studios in Aurora, Colorado. Alexandra Oliver, who goes by Alex, owns and runs it and is a Colorado-licensed esthetician with 13+ years of experience. Most of its work is aesthetic: Botox, dermal filler, other injectables, microneedling, XERF skin tightening, permanent makeup and facial treatments. It also offers consultations, PRP and PRF, collagen and regenerative treatments, homecare, payment plans and peptides. Google lists it as a medical spa, with a 5 rating from 126 reviews.
Dr. Amy Ghaibeh, a Colorado-licensed physician, is the only physician named as a prescriber. Some medical-aesthetic procedures are performed under her oversight, and Alex is not named as a prescriber. Peptides have their own described process. You answer an assessment about your goals and health history, a licensed physician reviews it, and if you are approved the peptides ship from a licensed pharmacy with no in-office appointment needed. The service does not say which physician does that review. In its own words: "While skincare and in-office treatments work from the outside in, peptides give us another way to support your goals from the inside out."
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for any service, peptides included, and it names no consultation fee. Pricing and the number of sessions are set after an assessment. The payment options it describes are financing only, through Cherry and CareCredit, which split eligible purchases into payments over time. CareCredit promotional options are available when offered, and existing CareCredit accounts can be used, subject to available credit. It does not say whether it accepts insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which physician reviews peptide questionnaires, and whether that review carries its own fee. Ask whether the peptide price includes the medication, and whether follow-up visits, lab work or refills cost extra. Ask whether the peptides are brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills them. It does not say whether telehealth is part of the process, so ask that directly. Ask what happens if you are not approved and whether a fee applies. If you finance a treatment or a series, ask how the monthly payments work if you want to stop early.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic skin, injectable or facial work in Aurora, and you are comfortable with an esthetician-owned practice where some procedures run under a physician's oversight. If you are looking for medical weight loss or hormone therapy as a program, it does not offer either as its own service. Its peptide service does list weight management among its goals, so ask what that would involve before you book.
