About Extended Healthspans

What is Extended Healthspans?

Extended Healthspans is a membership-based lifestyle and longevity medicine practice at 198 Littleton Road, Suite 202, in Westford, Massachusetts. The office is on the second floor of the Circle Health Building. Stephan Goupil, DO, PhD, is the only prescriber the clinic names. Dr. Goupil is board-certified in family medicine and lifestyle medicine, and he earned a PhD in Biomedical Science focused on the biology of aging. By its own account, the practice began in 2024, after years in traditional, corporate medicine.

The practice mainly offers concierge-style care for chronic conditions, with a focus on diet, physical activity, sleep, and stress. Its listed conditions include obesity, weight management, menopause and perimenopause, and thyroid. The clinic does not name any weight-loss medication, hormone therapy, or peptide therapy. Google lists a 5 rating from 3 reviews.

What does it cost?

The clinic takes cash only, and it says its style of care would not work with insurance. It suggests checking whether your HSA or FSA administrator will reimburse membership or visits.

There are three published prices. The Foundational Assessment is $695 for a 90-minute in-person longevity and lifestyle assessment, and labs ordered before the visit are not included. The Maintenance Membership is $150 a month. It includes one one-hour in-person assessment a year and up to three 30-minute telehealth check-ins each quarter. The Extended Membership is $300 a month. It includes one one-hour in-person assessment a year and one 30-minute telehealth check-in a month. Both memberships include lab test recommendations and review, portal access, Walk with a Doc community walks, and supplement discounts through Fullscripts and other partners. The clinic does not say whether membership fees cover any medication, and it does not publish commitment or cancellation terms. Two intensive programs, of three and six months, are listed with prices not yet posted. A free 15-minute virtual Meet & Greet is also offered.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes each prescription and whether Dr. Goupil prescribes personally. Ask whether the monthly fee includes any medication. If it does not, ask what a medication costs and which pharmacy fills it. If a medication is offered, ask whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask what the lab tests cost, since the $695 assessment does not include them and the memberships do not say whether they do. Ask about cancellation: whether a membership requires a minimum stay, how you cancel, and what happens to unused visits. Ask which states the telehealth check-ins cover, because the clinic does not list them. Finally, ask for office hours and when the three- and six-month programs will be priced.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want ongoing, lifestyle-focused care from a physician who works alongside your primary care doctor, and you are ready to pay cash every month or for a single assessment. If you are looking for a named weight-loss medication, hormone therapy, or peptide treatment, ask before you book, because the clinic does not say which, if any, it offers.
