About MD Longevity Lab

What is MD Longevity Lab?

MD Longevity Lab is a physician-run longevity medicine practice at 1640 N. Arlington Heights Rd, Suite 205, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, 60004. The phone number is 224-208-3720. Its prescribers are Dr. Vikas Patel, MD, and Nisha Patel, MD. Dr. Vikas Patel is described as board-certified, with over 20 years of experience in emergency and outpatient medicine. Nisha Patel is named as a co-founder, and no other background is given for her.

The practice is mainly longevity workups, built around a long first visit with a physician. Testing includes VO2 max testing, a whole body DEXA scan, resting metabolic rate, biological age calculation, genetic testing and blood testing, all done at the lab. The full body Prenuvo MRI is performed at a nearby specialty center. It also offers a monthly membership and a one hour MD Consultation. It does not list weight loss, hormone or peptide services. Infinity patients are seen once or twice a year, and other visits can be done remotely. Google shows a 5 rating from 49 reviews.

What does it cost?

The Elite Plan costs $1500 and includes a three hour consultation with an MD and the core testing. The Silver Plan costs $6500 and adds a two hour follow up consultation, full blood and genetic testing, a coronary calcium score and a neurocognitive risk assessment. The Gold Plan costs $8500 and adds the full body Prenuvo MRI. The monthly membership is $500. In its own words: "Our monthly membership is reserved for patients who have completed either the Silver or Gold Plan." The MD Consultation is $500 for one hour and excludes VO2 max, DEXA and other testing.

The clinic does not say whether plan prices include medication, whether it accepts insurance, or whether the MD Consultation fee applies only to a first visit. It does not publish a price for the Infinity membership, and it does not state membership cancellation terms.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes your prescriptions, and whether that is the physician you see. The membership includes prescription and supplement management, so ask what that costs on top of the $500. Ask whether the $1500 Elite price includes any medication or supplements. Ask whether the MD Consultation fee is charged again at a later visit.

Ask whether the clinic bills insurance or takes HSA payment, and how notice and cancellation work for the membership. Ask for the office hours, since none are listed. Ask what the Infinity membership costs and whether its remote visits are included. If you choose the Gold Plan, ask who pays the MRI center directly.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a long first visit with a physician and a full testing workup, and you are ready to pay the program price yourself. If you are looking for weight loss, hormone or peptide care, the clinic does not list those services, so call and ask before you book. The number is 224-208-3720.
