What is Panoramic Medicine?
Panoramic Medicine is a family primary care practice at 279 Miller Ave in Mill Valley, California. It was called Curtis F. Robinson, MD Inc. until it began doing business as Panoramic Medicine on January 1, 2024. It has provided primary care in Marin County since 2005. Its prescribers are Curtis Robinson, MD, Michelle Jonelis, MD and Tom Brookshire, PA.
It offers four programs. The first is the classic primary care option, from annual check-ups to last-minute appointments. Concierge Care, led by Dr. Robinson, adds extended preventive visit times and 24/7 access to a medical practitioner. Group Care offers group medical visits built around a medical condition shared by the group.
Longevity Care is a one-year program led by Dr. Robinson. It starts with a longevity survey and labs and scans, then adds monthly group sessions, 8 Longevity Challenges and individual meetings with Dr. Robinson. In its own words: "Throughout the program Dr. Robinson will work with patients to create a personalized Longevity Plan, combining their medical history with their Longevity Score, the Longevity Diet, Longevity Exercise Regimen, and Longevity Habit recommendations."
Longevity Care Online is a separate program with weekly Zoom seminars. It is an educational program, not medical care. Some group sessions meet in person at Longevity House, in the parking lot across from the office. The posted office hours run Monday through Friday, but the times are hard to read, so confirm them at 415.388.2801.
What does it cost?
Longevity Care is $7,400 a year, payable semiannually or annually. A second family member who joins pays the Concierge Care fee of $3,400, bringing the total to $10,800 for two. Longevity Care Online is $1000 USD before tax. For some patients, group medical visits cost $200 each: current and previous patients who have recently been assigned to a different primary care provider, or who do not have cardiometabolic disease.
In its own words: "Group Care Visits are medical visits directed at treating a medical illness and will be billed to each participants medical insurance." Copays, coinsurance and deductibles apply.
It does not publish a consultation fee or cancellation terms. It does not say whether the Longevity Care fee covers medication, labs or scans, or whether it takes insurance for primary care visits.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the $7,400 covers the labs and scans the program describes, and what they cost if it does not. Ask whether medication is included or billed on top, and whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask which clinician signs the prescriptions for the program, and whether there is a consultation before you pay.
If you pay semiannually, ask what happens if you cancel partway through the year and whether any money is refunded. The classic primary care program and Group Care are listed as closed, so ask whether either is taking new patients. Ask whether telehealth visits are offered. If you are considering Longevity Care Online, know that it does not establish a physician-patient relationship.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a family practice in Marin County with a structured one-year program, and you can plan for a $7,400 annual membership plus whatever labs and scans cost. If you only need a routine visit or a telehealth consult, call first, because those details are not published.
