About Kosmos Medical Group
What is Kosmos Medical Group?
Kosmos Medical Group is a concierge primary care practice at 3130 E Madison St Suite 204, Seattle, WA 98112, in the Madison Park neighborhood. Its phone number is +1-206-295-8978. Members pay a membership fee, and the practice does not bill insurance or Medicare for its services. Primary care is the main business. Alongside it, the practice lists menopause and perimenopause care, hormone replacement therapy, executive health, longevity medicine, direct primary care, and a female concierge doctor.
Three physicians are named as prescribers. Dr. Chris Dodd, M.D., is the founder, listed in internal medicine and preventive medicine. Dr. James Bhaskar, M.D., is listed in family medicine, with 18+ years in emergency medicine. Dr. Carolan Constantine, M.D., is board certified in internal medicine and emergency medicine and focuses on women's health and perimenopause. She prescribes and manages the hormone therapy. The hormone medications named are an estradiol patch or gel, oral estradiol, micronized progesterone, and testosterone. The practice does not list a weight loss or GLP-1 program.
Members can book same-day or next-day appointments, virtual visits, and in-home visits within ten miles of the clinic. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. In its own words: "We do not prescribe from a single lab value."
What does it cost?
The membership is $575 a month, or $6,900 a year. It covers unlimited primary care visits, 24/7 access to your physician by phone, text, or email, and an annual health assessment with more than 50 biomarkers. Optimal Care is $1,250 a month, or $15,000 a year. It adds whole-body MRI, multi-cancer early detection screening, coronary CT angiography, VO2 Max testing, continuous glucose monitoring, genetic testing, and DEXA body composition. Children aged 15 to 29 can be added for $200 a month.
Because the practice is cash pay only, insurance will not cover any of this. The practice does not say whether hormone medication is included in the membership fee, and the membership list names only on-site x-ray, ECG, and acute condition medications. It does not publish a consultation fee, a membership commitment length, or cancellation terms. It gives no separate price for hormone therapy beyond the membership.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether hormone prescriptions are billed on top of the $575 monthly fee. Ask whether the estradiol and progesterone are FDA-approved products or compounded preparations. The practice says it generally prefers regulated products over compounded pellets, so ask how that applies to you. Ask what the intro call and first visit cost, and whether follow-up visits and labs are included. The practice describes check-ins at six to eight weeks and at three months, so ask whether those and any repeat blood work are covered. Ask how long a membership commitment lasts, whether an annual payment is refundable if you cancel, and how cancellation works. Ask which specialist visits, imaging, and labs you would pay for outside the membership, since the practice says to keep your insurance for those. If weight loss is your goal, ask directly, because the practice does not list a program for it.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you can pay a monthly membership out of pocket, want one physician to manage hormone care alongside your heart, metabolic, and bone health, and want a primary care relationship with time built in. It is not a fit if you need a weight loss program, which the practice does not list, or if you need your visits billed to insurance.
