What is Longevity Clinic?
Longevity Clinic is a wellness clinic and med spa at 14 Oak Forest Rd., Suite D, in Bluffton, SC 29910. It describes its focus as anti-aging, preventative medicine and imaging. Hormone replacement therapy is the service it leads with, using Biote. The clinic also refers to a patented pellet formulation. It says it serves Bluffton, Hilton Head and surrounding areas, and its phone number is 843-476-4000.
Its other services include thyroid care with an in-house lab, vitamin therapy and IV vitamin therapy, a Suboxone clinic, acute care visits, and rapid COVID-19 testing. Its med spa menu covers Botox, dermal fillers, Coolsculpting, facials, waxing and skincare. Weight loss appears in its list of services, but the clinic does not describe a program or name a weight loss medication. Its imaging center is described as still under construction. It does not list peptide therapy, and it does not name the physician who prescribes.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. There is no consultation fee, no monthly rate, and no price for Biote or any med spa treatment. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, or whether any price includes the medication. Ask about each of these before you book.
The clinic does not mention HSA or financing, a membership fee, or cancellation terms. If a concierge plan or program is offered to you, ask for those terms before you agree to anything.
What should you ask before you book?
Who signs the Biote prescription, and will that physician see you in person or only by video? Is the medication included in any monthly fee or billed separately? Is the hormone medication a brand-name product or a compounded one? If a weight loss plan is offered, which medication would it use, and what does it cost? Does the clinic take insurance, and what do follow-up visits and lab work cost?
In its own words: "Access our primary care physicians 24X7 via phone, video, or chat with our concierge services designed to maintain your health not just manage your condition." Ask whether that concierge service has a fee and what it covers. Ask for office hours, which the clinic does not list, and how to cancel any plan or membership.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want hormone replacement therapy or a med spa service paid for out of pocket and you are comfortable getting prices and the prescriber's name before you book. If you are looking for a weight loss program with a named medication, ask about that first, since the clinic does not name one.
