What is Vigour?
Vigour is a hormone and aesthetic practice at 7629 Kenwood Road in Cincinnati, Ohio 45236, near Kenwood Towne Center. Its main service is hormone replacement therapy, with plastic surgery and aesthetic services alongside it. In its own words: "Vigour specializes in the Sottopelle method of Hormone Replacement Therapy, Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Services. Get back to the real you."
Dr. Bradley Bobbitt is the medical director and the one prescriber named. The clinic's description of him says he holds a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and became board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in 2003. The hormone program uses SottoPelle pellets, which the clinic describes as small pellets of crystallized hormone about the size of a grain of rice, placed under the skin through a tiny nick incision that needs a dressing but no sutures. Placements are repeated about every three to four months for women and every five months for men. The clinic credits Dr. Gino Tutera with developing the method, but it does not name the hormones inside the pellets. Botox, semi-permanent facial fillers and lip augmentation are offered in the office. Its Google rating is 5 from 4 reviews, under the category Doctor.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices, a consultation fee, or whether it accepts insurance. It also does not say whether any price includes the hormone itself, or what the lab work, insertions, follow-up visits, Botox and fillers cost.
Before you agree to anything, ask for the total cost of a year of pellet therapy, including the consultation, labs, each insertion and follow-up visits. A single written number will tell you more than any advertisement.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes and signs the hormone prescription, and who you will see at follow-up visits. Ask whether the hormone is a standard manufactured product or a compounded one, and which hormones go into the pellets. Ask what the laboratory tests cost, how often they are repeated, and whether the results are required before treatment starts. For Botox and fillers, ask the price per treatment and who performs the procedure.
Ask whether the practice bills insurance, and whether telehealth check-ins are available. Ask how much notice a cancellation requires and whether a scheduled insertion can be refunded. Confirm the hours by phone before you go, since the Tuesday closing time appears as both 3 and 5.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person pellet therapy from a practice where the medical director also performs cosmetic procedures, and you are ready to get prices in writing before you commit. It is a weaker match if you need published prices or video visits, since neither is described.
