What is Seashore Women's Health?
Seashore Women's Health is a women's health practice at 1500 Medical Center Drive in Wilmington, North Carolina. It opened in 2014. Its physician owner, Nadine Antonelli, MD, has served New Hanover County since 1995. She is a board-certified OB/GYN and is certified by the North American Menopause Society. The practice names one prescriber, Dr. Antonelli. Its Google listing shows a 4.2 rating from 53 reviews, under the category Obstetrician-gynecologist.
This is mainly a gynecology office. Its services are wellness exams and routine screening, contraception (including insertion of the Paragard, Mirena, Kyleena and Skyla IUDs and the Nexplanon implant), evaluation of abnormal periods, colposcopy with a minor in-office procedure called LEEP for abnormal cervical cells, menopause care, and sexual dysfunction. Hormone therapy sits under menopause care. In its own words: "We offer a variety of options to deal with issues and concerns that arise during the perimenopausal/menopausal years, including conventional and compounded hormone replacement therapy and newer FDA approved non-hormonal medication." It does not list weight loss, peptide or longevity services. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The phone number is (910) 833-7199.

What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. There is no consultation fee, no price for a visit, a wellness exam, an IUD or hormone therapy, and no membership plan listed. It says it offers self-pay rates but does not show them. It also does not say whether a price for hormone therapy includes the medication, or what that medication costs.
Insurance is the other half. In its own words: "We are credentialing with all of the same insurers and then some." It does not yet say which plans it is in network with, so check your plan before booking. Its wellness exam description notes that many insurers cover yearly wellness visits without out-of-pocket costs, but that depends on your plan. It does not mention HSA use or financing.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who writes the prescription. Dr. Antonelli is the only prescriber the practice names, but the team page also lists a family nurse practitioner, Amanda Damico, FNP-C. Ask whether she prescribes hormone therapy. Then ask what the conventional and compounded options cost, which pharmacy makes the compounded product, and whether a quoted price covers the medicine or only the visit.
Ask what labs and follow-up visits cost, since neither is priced. Ask whether telehealth is available, because the practice does not say. Ask how to cancel or change an appointment, and whether any membership or commitment applies. If you are looking for weight loss, peptide or longevity care, ask directly, since none is listed. Finally, ask what to bring to the first visit. The practice says every patient starts as new in its electronic record, and paper records are scanned and given back.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a gynecologist for contraception, abnormal periods, cervical follow-up, menopause care or sexual health, and you are willing to confirm your insurance and get cost answers before booking. It is less likely to fit if you came looking for weight loss, peptide or longevity medicine, since the practice does not list those services.
