What is Fosnight Center?
Fosnight Center is a sexual health and hormone practice at 7 Yorkshire Street, Suite 201, Asheville, NC 28803. Its main work is hormone therapy and sexual medicine. It also offers menopause support, specialized urology, gender affirming care, mental health therapy and SoftWave shockwave treatment. Jen Lepkowski, NP, is the prescriber it names. Google lists it as a urology clinic, with a 4.3 rating from 54 reviews.
It offers virtual visits. Its out-of-state consultations are virtual only, and it cannot diagnose or prescribe across state lines. It does not say which states its telehealth covers. It names Truvada and Descovy as its PrEP medications. In its own words: "No referral is needed to schedule an appointment."
What does it cost?
It publishes its self pay rates. A new patient visit is $250 to $300, and a follow-up visit is $150 to $240. Hormone pellet insertion is $160 plus $36 per pellet. Those rates cover office visits only. Labs are billed separately by the lab company. An education-only consultation is $250 an hour. Out-of-state virtual consultations are $150 for a 30-minute visit or $250 for a 60-minute visit, paid in advance.
It is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna and Cigna, and it bills those plans directly. It also lists Tricare (OON) and United Healthcare. It does not accept Medicare or Medicaid. It accepts HSA and FSA cards and offers flexible payment options. Its fees increased on July 1, 2026. Certified sex therapists charge $195 for a new individual client and $170 for an established one. SoftWave is self pay and starts at $65 for 500 shocks.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes and manages your hormone prescription, since Jen Lepkowski, NP, is the only prescriber it names. Ask whether the $160 pellet price includes the hormone itself, because it does not say. It does not publish prices for testosterone or other hormone regimens beyond pellet insertion, so ask for a full quote before you commit. Ask what follow-up visits and labs will cost in total. Ask whether its telehealth covers your state. Ask how cancellation and rescheduling work, since it does not describe either. It does not list hours, so ask when you can be seen. If you need thyroid care, ask about referrals, because the team does not manage thyroid care and can refer you to an endocrinologist.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you can get to Asheville, want hormone therapy, menopause support or sexual medicine, and are ready to pay for visits, pellets and labs. It is worth calling for a full quote before you book.
