About Hormone Health Montana

What is Hormone Health Montana?

Hormone Health Montana is a naturopathic clinic at 750 W. Custer Ave, Suite 3, in Helena, Montana. Dr. Hillary Lampers founded the practice and prescribes there. The clinic has nearly two decades of clinical experience. It offers hormone therapy, men's health, women's health, therapeutic injections, PRP, NeuroCranial Restructuring and InBody scanning. The medications it names are EvexiPEL pellet therapy and testosterone.

Office hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Telehealth is available only to residents of Montana and Washington State, so anyone living elsewhere must come in person. In its own words: "Scheduling is currently available for our Helena clinic only." It has one Google review, rated 5.

What does it cost?

It does not publish prices for hormone therapy or pellet therapy. It also does not say whether medication or pellets are included in any price. The free 15 minute consultation starts with an online questionnaire. It accepts only Blue Cross/Blue Shield MT plans (Traditional, PPO, Federal and State Workers), and it does not accept Medicare, Medicaid or Montana Healthy Kids plans. No deposit is required for new patient appointments, but it asks for 48 hours notice if you cannot make your first visit.

Its membership prices are the only ones it publishes. Montana Advantage is $89 a month. It bills office visits through insurance and gives 15% off pellet therapy. Roots is $129 a month, for patients without insurance or on high-deductible plans, and includes all follow-up visits, in office or by telehealth. Summit is $299 a month, with unlimited office and telehealth visits. It does not say how a membership is cancelled.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription and how often you must come in. Testosterone requires two in-office visits a year, and telehealth does not replace them. Ask whether a membership's monthly fee includes pellets or any other medication, and whether that medication is brand-name or compounded. The clinic does not say.

Ask what follow-up visits, cash-pay labs and InBody scans cost if you are not a member. Ask for the total cost of a pellet treatment, including the procedure and any follow-up. Ask how a membership is cancelled and how much notice it requires.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live in or near Helena, can make in-person visits, and either have Blue Cross/Blue Shield MT coverage or plan to pay cash. If that describes you, it is worth calling for the prices the clinic does not publish.
