About Vivo Integrative KC
What is Vivo Integrative KC?
Vivo Integrative KC is a functional and integrative medicine practice with an office at 6801 E. 187th St. in Belton, Missouri. It also serves residents of Kansas and Missouri by telehealth. The practice names one prescriber, Jeff Evilsizor, M.C., PA-C. He describes 24 years as a physician assistant and 10 years in integrative and natural functional medicine.
It lists eight services, including functional nutrition, thyroid optimization, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), gastrointestinal restoration and functional medicine lab testing. Its Google listing shows 5 out of 5 from 16 reviews.
What does it cost?
The membership fee is $35 per month and starts at the first appointment. It covers longer visits, direct portal messaging with Jeff Evilsizor, 35% off retail supplements and support with insurance and cost-share requests. The first visit is $495 for new patients, and follow-up visits are $395 for members. There is no yearly commitment. Visits need 48 hours of weekday notice to cancel or reschedule, or the full visit amount is charged.
The pricing pages do not agree. The homepage lists a $449 initial visit and a $349 follow-up, while another plan page lists $475 and $375. The practice does not publish a price for hormone therapy, and it does not say whether hormone medication is included in any fee.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the hormone prescription and whether it will be Jeff Evilsizor. Ask whether the $35 fee or any visit price includes hormone medication, and whether that medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask which thyroid medication would be used, Synthroid or levothyroxine. Ask what follow-up visits and hormone labs cost, and whether insurance covers any visits, since the pages say only that labs are billed to insurance. Ask about office hours, since none are listed, and how to end the membership.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want an ongoing relationship with one practitioner by telehealth and can pay cash for visits and hormone medication. It is a weaker fit if you need posted hormone prices, insurance-covered visits or walk-in care. In its own words: "Our goal is that you thrive not that you become a life-long patient."
