What is Compassionate Care?
Compassionate Care is a family medicine practice and walk-in clinic at 200 Evitt Pkwy in Ringgold, Georgia. The phone number is 706-952-5051. It serves patients aged 17 and older across North Georgia and the Chattanooga area. Jack Setters, PA, leads the care team, and Keelan T. Tuel, MD, serves as medical director and provides physician oversight. Setters has 40+ years of experience, and Dr. Tuel is board-certified in internal medicine.
The clinic lists eight services: family medicine, sports physicals, women's wellness, bioavailable hormone therapy, IV therapy, peptides and hormone pellets, holistic health and wellness, and onsite laboratory services. The lab work includes bloodwork and hormone-related testing, with rapid strep, flu and COVID tests on site. Hormone, peptide and pellet care takes up much of what the practice publishes, but the practice is primary care first. For those treatments, it puts it this way: "we evaluate your symptoms, goals, and medical history to determine whether peptide therapy, hormone pellets, or other options fit your plan." Its hormone pages list pellets as one option alongside creams and gels, patches, oral forms and injections.
This listing is for its Ringgold office at 200 Evitt Pkwy.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. There is no consultation fee, no per-visit rate, no monthly membership fee and no lab pricing. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, or whether a monthly or per-treatment price includes the medication. On coverage, the clinic writes: "Coverage varies by plan and formulation. We’ll review options and costs before starting." The clinic also states that no one is turned away for lack of insurance, but a cash-paying patient still has no number to plan around.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes and signs the prescription. Jack Setters, PA, is listed as a prescriber, and Dr. Tuel provides oversight. Ask how often a physician reviews a hormone or peptide plan. Ask whether the price for pellets, peptides or hormone therapy includes the medication, whether that medication is brand-name or compounded, and who supplies it. Ask what the starting labs cost, and what each follow-up lab and visit costs. Ask whether the clinic takes your insurance or bills cash, HSA or financing. Ask whether any follow-up can be done by video, since it does not say. Ask for the hours, since none are listed, and how cancellation works.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a family doctor's office with walk-in visits that also offers hormone, pellet or peptide care, and you are willing to get the full cost in writing before you commit. It is a weaker fit if you are mainly looking for a medical weight loss program, since it does not list one.
