What is Restaura Health?

Restaura Health is a women's and men's health practice founded in 2009 by Dr. Maribelle Verdiales. It has two offices, one in Monroe, Georgia, outside Atlanta, and one in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The clinic names Maribelle Verdiales, M.D. as its prescriber. She is a gynecologist who also trained in bioidentical hormone therapy, nutrition, weight loss and integrative medicine.

Mainly it is a gynecology and wellness practice. Its listed services are anti-aging, bioidentical hormone replacement for men and women, reproductive endocrinology, gynecological surgery and pelvic floor therapy, cosmetic gynecology, a nutrition and supplements center, regenerative medicine, platelet rich plasma and cellular therapy. What does it cost?

It does not publish prices. That covers the consultation, hormone therapy, the cell and PRP treatments and online visits. When you call, ask for the first visit price in writing, then the lab cost, then the cost of each follow-up.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with location. The hormone service is listed under the Playa del Carmen services, and the Monroe services list does not name it. Ask whether the Monroe office prescribes hormones, and if not, where you would be seen.

Ask who signs the prescription. Dr. Jessie Bender is set to leave the practice effective August 5, 2026. If she was part of your care, ask who takes her place.

Ask whether the hormones are brand-name or compounded, and which forms are offered. The clinic lists oral, creams, gels, patches and pellets. Ask whether any monthly fee covers the medication or only the visit. Its evaluation includes laboratories and diagnostic tests, so ask what that lab work costs.

For online consultations, ask which states they cover and whether an online visit can lead to a prescription. The clinic does not name any states.

If you are considering Medication Assisted Trauma Release, ask which medication is used, who prescribes it and what it costs.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want gynecology-led care with hormone or regenerative services, and you are willing to get prices, medication details and your prescriber's name in writing before you pay. It is a weak fit if you need published prices, or confirmation of a hormone program at the Monroe office, before you can decide.
